maybe this goes in a different thread, but I think his nickname should be D Wade.  What do you guys think?

Might be luked; from mid-August: http://www.kansas.com/sports/college/wichita-state/paul-suellentrop/article1239028.html

Quote
Kinnamon said Wade made around 47 percent of his three-point shots.
He averaged 21 points/game and they said he usually only played around 19 minutes/game :surprised: how many total minutes are in high school games?

Summer tournament games are typically 20 minute halves with a running clock besides the last 2 or 3 minutes.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

The way I interpreted the article those averages were for his junior year of high school, not AAU games.

That's probably correct. KS high school plays four 8 minute quarters.

Dean Martin's boxing nickname was Kid Crochet, but his real name was Dino Crocetti.

I was thinking we can just call him "The Dean" or the "The Dean of Hoops" or "The Dean of Dunk" or "The Dean of DOB". I mean there's lots of directions you could go with this cuz Dean is also his first name.

Yeah... He'd better dunk or we should be rethinking more than just his nickname potential.

Dunking the basketball is the least of my concerns with this high flying stud.

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

Also, what if Dean turns out to be awesome?

How big of an EMAW hero will he be?  It will be unreal.
the Jordy of hoops?
We have had to wait, but it has been worth it
If he stays healthy. .... maybe a Frank Kami sky type year.
MVP of the whole thing, and no crooked shoe money involved.
