Guys the story came out that the Cavs contacted Self about coaching their team. He could've coached Wiggins (his best player ever), Irving (only player to every shut down Pullen) and Lebron (GOAT) and won multiple championships, yet he stayed at KU.

How much of an unconfident loser is this guy?

nvm, just saw a blurb on kusports.com.  These talks were before Wiggins and Lebron were part of the deal.  He'd be crazy to turn down the Cavs job as of last Friday.

Would Lebron have decided to go to Cleveland if Bill Self were the coach?

Probably not, I think Bron was holding out for Blatt.

I think what my friend Mitch is trying to say is that true love is blind.

Can you guys imagine Bill trying to manipulate 'Bron through the media?  Oh Man!  I want Bill to put, but it would have been great to see that play out.

i bet he'd have tried to be cool and call lebron "'bron-bron" to the media and just look like a complete doorknob doing it

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

Man, sabotaging Lebron's career would be the ultimate feather in the cap for Massa

I have a feeling Bronbron made it a condition of continued negotiation for his services early in the process.  'bron isn't stupid.  He probably had spoken with Our Guy Andy and watched many a career unravel over the last few collegiate seasons.

A person with any sense at all would've seen this coming a mile away and hopped on board the championship train.

Maybe, it doesn't have anything to do with Bill's coaching ability(even though it most likely does).  Maybe with how racially charged the Association is right now, with the whole Sterling thing, they simply didn't want to throw Cleveland gas on a fire that is currently 2000 miles away by hiring a guy like Bill?

Self is simply not an NBA coach.

I don't think Selfing works at the pro level.  He's much better off staying a college coach.
