You can't take Jevon out, though. He may be our best player today.

This is sad because it is true... :Yuck:

Wow, Nino is our best defensive player.

Anyone who doesn't think Jevon should be playing 30 minutes at the point guard is a rough ridin' Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!). Nigel needs to be a scorer for us first for us then he can be a back up point guard. Wish Edwards could be scorer, he is passive as crap tho. Defense needs to be cleaned up, can't guard a ball screen.

Foster needs to be a scorer first and allow that to open up the rest of his game. Anybody who didn't think this game was going to be a grinder is a Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) he have way to much to fix.

Jevon was 4-5Fg, 4-6 FT and 6 Ast. Solid stat line, but his TOs and out of control play is frustrating to watch

Nigel... 1-13 from 3pt last 6 gms.  He is not an asset for us on offense right now. Quite the opposite at this point

I want Foster, Gip, Niño, Westicles, and Edwards all playing 24-34 min with Foster and Gip seeing the most action.  Jevon/hurt/ Nigel...should be playing 35-40% of the game. Malik a handful of minutes and Tre a few min some games too.    I know some of you won't agree with all that, but that's just My opinion at this point

what has been mixed-nutz deal lately? has just resorted to name calling and being very mean spirited while everyone else is trying to have a nice civilized conversation about basketball

Need to come up with an offensive game plan for those games when Foster is off.  Because right now it seems to be make passes of increasing difficulty until the ball is finally stolen.

1. Point guards are terrible. Guess oscar is going to play them since he recruited them but still terrible recruits. If this is their ceiling we are doomed.
2. No toughness on this team at all. Frank left and so did this.
3. Gip best post player but trying to win in the Big 12 w/ a 6'7" post that is non athletic is hopeless.
4. 99% of this board was upset with the terrible hire. Don't see any reason for this to change.
5. oscar is the best coach in America at winning w/ other's players.
6. If your not tough and haven't had your nuts put in a vice everyday at practice not sure why we should expect them to play defense?
7. oscar is nice. Who cares? Anyone think that when he walks into locker room after playing soft they are are like "Oh crap"?
8. It's tough playing for tough coaches, i.e. Frank. This is why tough coaches recruit tough players and not cotton balls. Not even sure who our toughest player is? Gip? Maybe by default? Frank recruit.
9. This all falls at the feet of AD!
10. WE SUCK BALLS.

At this point we need a radical change in philosophy and I would much rather watch us throw Tre Harris out there and have Edwards/Westicles/Foster muddle through bringing the ball up than watch more of Jevon's terrible decision making.

The coaching has been terrible.  It was painful to see how seemingly unprepared we still are for double teams, traps and matchup zones despite the fact that this is the 9th game and every single team has showed zone against us, UMKC played a very similar style and we have not improved at all at responding to it.

why do you think he should bother me?

if you are fairly convinced that he's horrible, i'd probably just assume i don't know what i'm talking about, if i were you.  if i recall correctly, you go to games.  i don't and even when i watch a stream i can barely force myself to pay attention.  my opinion is not an informed one.

With just under 3:00 left, we were shooting 39% eFG with 22 TOs.  Its unreal how bad our offense has been in 3 of the 4 losses.

We have 4 weeks to get this somewhat fixed. We have winnable games vs Ga and aTm before Big12 play starts. 12-6 seems way farfetched at this point. I hope Brucy can prove us all wrong and get the most out of this group from Jan-March

I enjoyed a play in which Foster threw a lob on a break and Nino and Edwards each decided to let the other convert it.

First time I've turned off a game in a while

Hate this the most:  'Cats too painful to watch an entire game.  Several games in a row now.  Right the ship, oscar.

LOL at tennessee in that last minute.

the turnover on the break was the funniest basketball play i've seen in a very long time.  the passer's confident attitude, more than anything, made the joke.
