Relax. The Cats will be fine, the streak preserved, and not all will be lost. I'm not on the keep oscar or fire oscar team. I'm just going to keep cheering for the Cats. And as every year I am curious how well this group can compete. None of us knows that yet. We may have had better who didn't perform well, and we may have had rose who played better. I'm going to let the season unfold.

Hang on a second, I thought it was odd that we had an even number of home games, and saw I counted the Colorado State loss in the home record.

Projected 8-9 at home, so only need to flip one of those home losses to extend!

But under the Rake outlook, the streak would be broken in the CTR.

But I miscounted and the Rake projection comes out to an 8-9 fOOD record. I know any projection that has the streak ending in our lifetime seems absurd, but that's only 1 game that would have to be flipped. And it could be the Columbia game that's the pivotal one, leaving us still at 3-15 in the Big 12.

If we can just get 6 Ws in the fOOD vs. the pre-big 12 non-con of Maryland-Eastern Shore, Columbia, South Dakota, South Carolina State, Coppin State, North Dakota and Saint Louis, we'd extend the streak even w/Rake's 3-15 conference prognosis AND losing at home in that weird SEC challenge game vs. Ole Miss.

Columbia is the big swing game, on a Monday night no less for those of you lamenting the lack of Big Monday games.

) had a longer one, but lost out on a technicality like vacated wins or something.

Yeah, there's def a thread on here where we found when KSU quit trumpeting the streak, but we don't have to. And the winning vs. non-losing distinction won't matter b/c I miscounted and there's 17 home games so .500's off the table.

Too bad The Ed broke up w/us all. I could've gotten the streak stats, STRAIGHT, and given them to Ed and had him call up #oscar and wyatt and delve into it.
