not ever. it's the rough ridin' worst.

You guys need to recalibrate what sort of enjoyment one is supposed to get from a KSU basketball game.

I like winning and exciting basketball played by players that are fun to watch.   :dunno:

I like feeling warmly about my team.

@Tobias, this got me thinking, I have to go back to KS in early December and early February, but both for work events that are happening on Saturdays, theoretically killing PoundTown SchemePAKs.  Then I checked out that December weekend - we play at dumbstick that Friday 12/4, not Saturday.  Depending on what time that game is, could be a hell of an opportunity, and not one to be taken lightly.

i am NOT taking this development lightly... :excited:

I've pretty much locked down in my head flying to Wichita Thursday night, working Friday until whenever pak'n allows and heading up to Pound Town.

Get over it, and get jazzed for whatever this year's version of point guards throwing passes to guys heading to the scorer's table and such will be.  Plus Season 2 of Sergio.

I am going to continue to roll with my belief that this team actually has enough talent on it that with the right coaching they could squeak into the NCAA tourney.   But as I've said, because they're coached by oscar Weber, they won't,  and thus it will be a very frustrating season and I'm not looking forward to it right now.

Dax, you're a critical part of Tobias and I's enjoyment of KSU hoops.  Stay the course.

In fact, you should come to Salina for the 12/4 event and then go catch the football game at BSFS that next day.  Seriously.

Going into 05-06 for both was pretty bad. Hoops was coming off Wooly's best season I guess.

i was convinced the prior football season was a fluke. you're probably right about basketball but i hadn't tasted success at all and at least WANTED Wooly to succeed much more than i do oscar at this point.

Good points. This is definitely worse than 05-06, that was just the worst one that I could think of since the DOD years. I have very little interest right now in K-State basketball.

to be clear, i meant basketball OR football season. still in a good place with football.

I enjoy college basketball a bunch.  I'm going to go into the season being as positive as I can be. No one knows what we have, so that will be interesting to see.  I am holding out hope that we will be better than most on this board "know" we will be.

that sounds a lot easier than it is. looking at oscar's stupid face makes me angry.

I just looked at like 8 other vines that say you're completely capable of having a good time while oscar and his cats are getting their asses whipped.

i wasn't paying attention to the game really at all, so there is that.

This is very dumb.  This is KU football level delusion.

Those not jazzed = those who didn't enjoy the pleasures of KSU hoops chats last season
"Im jazzed too trim, Im excited to see what this season brings and how the young talent turns out. To me the big meat brigade is a clean group and we have alot to look forward to with Djammer and his pack of goons"- Read in oscar voice.

4th = lol'n our ball(s) off at oscar vs. dumbstick on TV and eating scheme pizza

I wouldn't be messing with the football game unless it's early, but I'm certain you'd be a very welcome guest of any gE'r who's going.
