the 5 hour battery life is laughable. and bluetooth sucks crock.  and they fit like apple earpods which suck balls.

if stealthy is what you want, there are better options out there

do any of them have the sensors that pause the audio when you remove the buds from you ear? My quick Google search indicates Apple has patented it

They have had 140 years to reduce the cost, it they haven't/couldn't do by now it will never happen.  Maybe (gasp) this will help bring the cost of Bluetooth headphones down.

The fun thing is there are thinner phones out already that still have a headphone jack. This is purely to sell expensive applebeats, the monster cables of headphoning

If you look at the design(you didn't) they moved the Taptic Engine to where the headphone jack was.  You can only put so much stuff in a space so small

quality headphones are constantly getting cheaper. yeah it will probably improve and reduce the cost of bluetooth headphones but whoopdy doo

Preordered.   

I was hesitant, then I discovered that Verizon has a special promo and will give me $650 off the cost for trading in my 6+.

The headphones thing isn't a big deal for me since they come with a set. I've never bought a pair of headphones in my life, I have no problems with the headphones that come with the phone. Also, I'm fine giving up the jack to help the phone be more water resistant.
