Essentially Flyertalk / Thread for elite phone wallpapers

Make an elite background for your phone.  Post it here.  I'll start-

BB Tour, 480x360.  For some reason the size here isn't the same size as my screen but it fits right on my phone.

Quote
Many airports constructed just 50 years ago may not be sufficient to handle the demands of 21st century aircraft. This special unpacks the particular problems of the world's most extreme airports and examines the engineering behind them, from centuries-old territorial battles that have led to unsafe layouts, to geographical challenges like wind currents and natural obstacles that make these places unfit for travel.

On now, what a great show.

Kansas State Football / Turner Gill Bringing In Mega-Talent At KU
« on: July 19, 2010, 01:16:20 PM »
A quick review of the  transfers to Kansas of former Buffalo players, you may see several more:

Darius Willis, LB
-Good size and speed. Buffalo highest rated recruit ever.Ended up at UB due to Turner, grades and desire to play QB. Got hurt last year, too late to redshirt. When the summer depth chart was released after spring drills in late April, Willis was listed behind senior Justin Winters(a walk on) and junior Fred Branch at weakside linebacker. The day after the two deep was released, Willis announced he was leaving the program. He has a world of potential, I think he'll start for KU at some point at LB.

Nick Sizemore, FB
-A solid blocker as a true frosh as a back up to a walk on Jr college transfer .New Buffalo HC Quinn runs spread w/NO FB. Nick wasnt going to put on 40 and play center. Hes talented, your going to like him.Using his RS year to bulk up and stay athletic, he will be playing alot  at FB .His dad posted on the UB Boards and is a good man.

Essentially Flyertalk / The Oakland Burger King Fight
« on: July 15, 2010, 10:35:04 PM »
a pregnant woman, a lack of pants, nsfw language, a man punching a lady in the face, a cop getting hit by a car, all in one extravagant Burger King parking lot scene.

all in all, 10 of the best minutes of my day.  I hope you can say the same.

Serious question for my fellow goEMAWs.  Do you guys think that Nino will break Durants #'s then break Beasley's #'s as a freshy?
He's probably the most advanced player to hit our system since who knows what.

My predicto is 22ppg, 9rpg, 4 apg.

Give me your predictos, friends-

Kansas State Football / KU Football: History Awaits
« on: June 18, 2010, 02:30:50 PM »
Do you think that when they said "History Awaits" they knew they were going back to the history of sucking and that it was waiting for them and that's why they lost 7 in a row and only won 1 conference game against the Fighting Haverhills (who the Cats dominated)?

I do.  I readily admit it, I do.  They knew that their suckage was coming back.

Kansas State Football / A look back @ KU's Season of Dominance
« on: June 18, 2010, 11:35:15 AM »
Central Michigan
SE Lousiana
Toledo
Florida International

Not to mention their south rotation included the three worst teams in the south:  home games against Baylor (3-9) and @ A&M (7-6) and Ok St  (7-6)

What a complete joke and embarassment of a program.

First of all, hear me out before deciding on the answer.  I blame a lot of the loss against Butler on Pullen, who by his own admission was "tired".  Secondly, he cannot transfer because he's going into his senior year and there's no way he could afford to lose the hype/momentum he built up last year during our tourney run.  So he'd have no choice but to stick it out in MHK.

If we pulled his scholarship now and forced him to walk on, we could open up the empty scholarship spot for that JUCO kid who originally signed at sister school Duke.  Thoughts?  I'm trying to find a scenario that would allows us as much talent as we can get, even though I think that in the long run this team is much better without Pullen than with him.  I don't think he fits Frank's system, this has been evident since day one when he came  to campus.
