Any news on DzMcD?

Will play.

Excellent. He's a difference maker, probably our best corner since Malone.

Not as good of a pass defender, which is ok b/c malone was an A+ pass defender, but IMO a better tackler and better in run coverage.  :th_twocents:

Yes.  I think he will get better in pass coverage.

He's going to be a beast by the end of this year. You can tell he's improving rapidly with each game.

Green?

Johnson?

Anybody with cool info, like you saw them playing one-in-one basketball last night at chance and both were dunking with ease?

So I went back and watched the play with Green.  He didn't get hit on his knee.  Instead, it appeared that he tried to cut and then his right knee kindof froze up.  Not to be alarmist, but it looked a lot like the play on which Tre Walker blew out his knee.  There was no contact or anything that would have caused something like a bruise.

Yea, I heard that too. It will be really sad if he is out for the rest of the year. It would be a big blow.
Luke's stock is rising as Winters continues to validate his greatness. Add Luke and Winters to my list! Also, EMAWBLAST! and Tobias!

Non-contact knee injuries are scary business

I really want to see Green on the field, so I looked at his Twitter.  He said something like he has to take some "minor steps" in order to be 100%

Doctors?  Meniscus tear?

I hope so. I'm not sure I'll be able to watch Schellenberg and Will Davis on the field at the same time.

Why not let him heal up completely before TCU if we don't need him? Ankles are weird.

If K-State goes out and plays its game, hopefully we can put Joe Hubener in early in the 2nd half.  It would be nice if we could have that bye after this week to allow Jake to heal, but it may serve us just as well having to go to Morgantown the week after TCU.

I hope it's his ac joint and not a labrum tear. The ac joint will heal okay over time and be tolerable. Labrum tear could get much worse.

Guys he didn't look that bad.  A couple holding penalties away from having a pretty nice game.

Benefit of a Labrum tear is it doesn't affect what you can do, it just hurts like a bitch.  Since it's his senior year, the selfish part of me says suck it up, take a shot and go.  It also takes forever to recover from surgery.  Of course he has trainers so hopefully not as long as with a normal person.

yeah, the bomb to lockett that was called back was one of the finer throws of his career. looked like there was pain at times depending on the angel of the throw.
