The voting process was not hacked, imo.  I think both parties got their info hacked to some degree.  I think Putin then chose Trump as the weak simpleton he could most easily handle and thus allowed for the leak of the DNC emails.  Again, this is just opinion.

As dax has pointed out many times, Putin was wrong and Trump is not going to lift any sanctions or cede back the compounds as Putin expected he would.  Trump is going to be firm with Russia as Obama should have been.  Putin made an error in judging Donald as an easily manipulated doofus.

The compounds are still only under consideration.  The compounds if given back may lose diplomatic status, and thus be wide open to US law enforcement.   I would say that compounds are highly compromised at this point from an intelligence perspective.

Yes I am afraid.  If Russia perceives Trump to be weak, especially by media attacks, they are liable to do anything.  If you are getting into a nut racking fight with someone, you want both hands free.  The stupid left and media don't understand we are in a Texas Death Racking match with Russia.  The more mad you make Putin, the more aggressive racker he becomes.  I am not certain we can rely on mutual mass destruction fear any more.  I think it has to be fear of who will strike first.
