My first though was "they just built a Zaxby's literally across the street from his HS stadium", I wonder what chicken figures has to do with this.

Also, Owasso just hired the old Union coach who was the HC at Tulsa for a few years. This could be good to get in with them/him. If Owasso starts getting some wins over Jenks/Union/Broken Arrow with him as coach, you'll start to see more high quality players show up at Owasso.

I played baseball with guys from every single one of those OK towns you mentioned. Apparently the football games between them was like most college games

Working through limited connections, details surrounding this ongoing situation are vague. What is clear though is that K-State recently notified Davis of its decision to part ways based on specific information uncovered regarding a prior off the field incident which involved the junior college recruit.

A 6-foot-6, 250-pound three-star defender, Davis committed to K-State in December over Oregon State, TCU, and Michigan State. While he could not be reached for comment on the issue, it's believed that there's no animosity on his end towards the staff, though mutual disappointment is likely now that his career won't continue in Manhattan as planned. A new destination for Davis has yet to be determined.

From an overall standpoint, I firmly doubt this move hurts the Wildcats in any way on the field. Davis has not participated in a game in over a year meaning that he likely would've needed a lot of time to get in playing shape and also learn the playbook (based on past recruits who had arrived with similar "time off" scenarios). Given young depth at the position with Reggie Walker, Kyle Ball, Bronson Massie, Wyatt Hubert, and Anthony Payne, defensive end remains secure for the future.

I think this kid is a walk-on. He only played in 3 games for Butler last year.

I was talking w/ my neighbor last weekend, and his sons play for Blue Valley North. I guess the QB there this year is pretty good. He is a JR, has an offer from KU already, and he's getting looked at by Texas, ND, etc.

I guess they're pretty bullish on winning state this year. I'm gloriously ignorant to local high school football, but his name is Graham Mertz. Has a Hudl clip. Looks pretty good. 6'4", 200(ish).

I doubt we'll be on the radar, but probably worth keeping an eye on. Probably ends up being a high 3/low 4 star talent.
