First of all I don’t think anyone should have their first amendment right of free speech denied. Second, social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter are so big and they have an influence over so many people, when someone is silenced it denies someone’s voice to a large group of people.
All that being said these platforms being independent of the government can make up whatever terms and conditions that they want. They can decide and deem stuff against those terms and ban and suppress people’s speech. You are not entitled to your first amendment rights the same way as your traditional form of speech in written and vocal manner. Twitter is within their right to deem something against their terms and ban it.
I just saw the news....how are you holding up, Dax?
