Does a good job of following blockers. Is an outstanding inside and outside runner; can bounce off the edge and gain the corner.

Shows tremendous plant and cut balance/agility; accelerates through and out of his cuts; we see the burst needed to split defenses down the middle. Runs over his pads, not exposing his frame to the big hit.
Power/Balance
Is a slashing style runner with the power and balance needed to extend runs in heavy traffic; a tough competitor capable of moving the pile and getting into the end zone; displays the playing strength to power through and over opponents; shows no quit along the sideline. We see carry the load potential at the Power Conference level of competition.
Bottom Line
Barnes also flashes running the inside screen game off play action; displays outstanding run after catch production; developing a route running package is a must. We see the toughness and speed needed to play early at the next level.
