i have been a k-state fan for a long time, since LHC Bill Snyder became coach for the second time and let me tell you i'm embarrassed to associate with you!  :bill:
this is making me consider rooting for the eers! come on guys! stand tall and be proud! we should sing hand in hand with eers fans and be 1. USA!! USA!!

Yea... whore

3302
i'm REALLY starting to fear for the safety of our team and visiting fans this weekend.  i mean, the k-state fans in huntington will be pretty noticeable as they will have all their teeth, and not look like hobo's... not exactly the easiest place for us to blend in.

 :ohno:

Just throwing this out there now, but if a KState player or fan is attacked this weekend because of message board posts this the answer to this thread immediately becomes a resounding yes.

3303
Can you imagine how pissed the tucks are at goEMAW right now? :billdance:

3304
Maybe she should make a film about this.

What should the title be?

how about a 30 for 30;

What if I told you that one message board trolled an entire fan base?

What if I told you they did it again?

ESPN presents "The day EMAW won the internet, again" presented commercial free by rev honey.

Would watch

3305
My god, did I just miss goEMAW's finest hour?

What's our official stance on Chiefs/ku/mu fans getting on our out of control bandwagon?

Have not seen any trying to do this. Only see them getting butthurt.

Tweets from today and yesterday:
"SERIOUSLY! Can we STOP with this Collin Klein for Heisman campaign?"

"K-State is a very good team, but Collin Klein is NOT a Heisman candidate"

"I could see K-State getting to the NC.....then getting ROLLED by Alabama"
This is why I want a NC and Klein Heisman so bad. Would piss off KU/MU/NU/every non-KSU fan in the country so bad.

3307
Problem with that analogy is that the Beasley/Walker team was basically a 2 man team, we were good at almost every position in '98.

Not comparing team to team

3308
The question is, do we just start Sams ala Klein @ Texas '10 and only throw 4 passes all day knowing we already have the win?

3309
Don't have any specific posts, but one of my hometown "friends" is a pregnant, overly in your face christian, right-wing military wife. Just the absolute worst.

I'm still trying to figure out what Hunt has done that's so horrible. 4 of the top 5 Chiefs players are signed to multi-year deals, the 5th (Bowe) I wonder how much he actually wants to be here. Carr leaving sucked, but he signed a ridiculous contract with Dallas (he'll have the highest cap hit of any CB currently signed next year) that's way over value so I don't see that as an issue with the owner not paying up. I see poor drafting and not improving the QB situation as the biggest problems facing the Chiefs and those fall squarely on the shoulder of the GM. I still believe that the Chiefs haven't been in the right situation to get a franchise QB but re-signing Orton or any number of other short-term fixes would have been better for the team. Pioli and Cassell is basically the NFL equivelent of Moore and Francouer.

there is no such thing as the "right situation."

smart gm's value qb's above all else. they do whatever it takes to go and get them.

kc could have done the same damn thing that washington did. and they absolutely could have traded up to get tannehill.

do you guys know how much the falcons gave up to trade up for julio jones?? 5 picks. FIVE. not only that - TWO 1st rounders. they moved from the 27th pick to the 6th.

we need a gm who wants to win. period.

Didn't think going after Tannehill was a good move and still don't. The only 2 QB's I wanted in the 1st round last year where Luck and RG3 and that wasn't happening. I wanted Weeden in the 2nd but Cleveland got desperate. I really wanted Wilson in the 3rd and Pioli took a developmental OLineman but it's arguable whether either of those 2 are true "franchise" QB's. I've detailed my belief in the perfect storm that kept the Chiefs from getting one of the good ones in the past so I'm not going to do it again. But I don't think anyone will argue that improvements should have been made at the position and the Chiefs have missed some opportunities to take gambles.

kc fans need to get over blaming the owners. i don't like either of them all that much and would absolutely prefer better ownership, but that is not something we fans can do anything about. we can refuse to support terrible products, and the persons responsible for those poor products, namely - the general managers.

pioli and moore are far more responsible and deserving of any blame.

when was the last time any chief fans felt good about draft results. definitely not overly impressed with the past couple. our line looks great now and should for a while but other than that...

i'm not speaking about the drafts so much as the general organizational philosophy... pioli acting as if he knows something no one else does. doggedly refusing to admit mistakes. failing to acknowledge that brady and belichek are the reason "the patriot way" won games. hiring retread patriot patsies who will goose step behind him and never dare to question him.

the drafts are merely an extension of pioli's half-baked philosophy.

well I think its now official that KC has a QB controversy.

and he isn't the worst QB in the league.  See Jax, very arguably Bills, arguably Romo

definitely down there, how can you not produce with our arsenal? i mean, at least fitz/romo seem to put up TD's most of the time in lieu of their turnovers. if not the worst, he's for sure tied down at the bottom. terrible unifier/leader.

Yea, Fitzpatrick and Romo are both better than Cassell, I don't want either, but they're both better.
I really think Romo is mediocre at best.  Cassell may not win games, but he doesn't lose games like Romo, that is the only reason why I put him down so far.
Fitzpatrick isn't that great from what I've seen.  He has a quality RB and a good defense (on paper) and still doesn't have success.

If your label is "game manager" and you have as many to's as Cassell has you're losing games, and your description of Fitzpatrick fits Cassell even more than it fits Fitzpatrick

Somebody should ask them if when they're blowing someone out in basketball they should just take a shot clock violation every trip instead of letting the scrubs chuck up 3's and oops to try and get in the scorebook

RG3 has played 4 games. 4. Way too early to make a decision on him (or cam, really).

Yeah, those guys are probably gonna tank.  We should stick with Cassel or Quinn in 2013 rather than taking a risk.

I'm not saying don't get a quarterback but I'm way more comfortable with Barkley or another pro style guy than a guy who just throws the deep ball against non existent defenses.

Have you watched both Barkley and Smith play this season? Geno in every game he plays is making every single pass, not just the deep ball. Re-watch the Baylor game, many of the big plays where because he hit a receiver in stride and allowed them to turn upfield and make a play. Barkley has already thrown 5 picks and taken 7 sacks. Obviously he's faced better defenses (though Hawaii, Syracuse, and Cal aren't exactly great) but in the games I've seen of his he seems somewhat erratic on his throws. I'd take him in a heartbeat over Cassell, but he just screams bust to me. Geno will have some down games once he hits the meat of the BigXII schedule, but so did RG3.

Also, how likely is it that Bowe signs as a FA with someone with a legit QB and just has a beast of a season next year?

I would love a .gif of Peyton Hillis dropping that little screen pass, then taking his helmet off and finding a nice spot on the bench. That was hilarious.
Apparently he strained his calf muscle vagina or something.
