Good to have Wolves back up, they won the title yesterday. 2nd will come down to Cardiff, Fulham, or Villa with the playoff spots still up for grabs (Preston currently in 8th with 3 games to go :excited:).

Also Sunderland are about to go down another division which is nice to see

I'm glad city won it this way, as anticlimactic and nondescript as humanly possible.

except for the all-important "Number of Trophies in a Season" record of course

it wouldn't be very fun to break ALL of them in one season spaces

Nah man, the season has been over for four months, there isn't anyone outside of city that cares about any of that stuff. Once the threat of a quad was over, getting a treble was the prize. Once the threat of the treble was over the goal was to clinch against and/or get a guard of honor from one of the other big 6 clubs. Winning a Premier League title is one of the greatest accomplishments in sports but them winning that title while sitting on their couches watching United have their worst performance of the season was the best outcome for everyone else. Celebrating the title two weeks after the fact after playing Swansea may be the most anti-climatic conclusion in league history.

City won't mind at all about the way they clinched it and they shouldn't. It was just a tiny bit of consolation for United to deny them the chance to have probably the greatest day in their history.

btw MIR, who do you wanna see leave/join in the summer? I really hope they don't sell Martial.  :frown:

And are you still #MourinhoOut? If so, who should be next?

I don't want anyone to leave, I get really attached to players and frankly I don't know how much better this club can reasonably get. They are much better than they were in 16-17 and I'd like to see what happens if/when the young players have another year to gel. I hate that the leagues in England, France, Spain, Belgium, Italy, Portugal, and Holland essentially play musical players every damn year lead essentially by 10 clubs on the continent. It seems that the teams in Germany are much less volatile. I feel like I'm watching a big ass game of football manager and I hate that.

As for Mou, it's playing out exactly like I thought it would, so yeah, I want him gone. He has helped put together a good club but there is constant drama around the team and I think the players don't perform as well as they can because of it. The Pogba stuff is something you'll always have with a Mourhino squad, he can't help himself. Martial even being mentioned in terms of being sold is ridiculous. Look at this sentence
Quote
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho hinted to Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial that he can not guarantee regular them regular football at Old Trafford.
what in the holy eff are we talking about here?

As for who I want, not sure. I know I don't want Conte though. I'd love to have Pochettino but I know that isn't happening. I'd list Giggsy second on my wish list.

If Charlton wins gets promoted the second biggest stadium in League One will hold 25,000. Stadium of Light has a capacity of 50,000.

There are currently five League One stadiums with a capacity below 10,000.

The two biggest best and most prestigious clubs in England going at it for the most important trophy in club football. Wouldn’t have it any other way. United vs Chelsea the two titans of the beautiful game for the FA Cup the only prize that matters.
