Texas is an extremely hard place to win, one of the hardest I think.  Strong deserves a chance at a place like K-state that has all the advantages.

How likely is Strong to dip on USF? Doesn't seem like the type to ride one good season
 out and abandon.

Let's see what Charlie does with his own team. Not Wille Taggert's. On the positive side, he's obviously smart enough not to f*ck with a good thing (that being team he inherited).

But Bret? Nope. He's another DC that should probably stay as DC. Somewhere but somewhere else.

Are you aware that Charlie Strong as a head coach before he was at Texas? He was a highly successful head coach even.
