The U.S. continues to pour weapons into Ukraine and hasn't done much of anything on the diplomacy front.

Still openly touting and hoping for a prolonged bloody conflict.

40 days in, and still dead set on fighting Vlad Putin til the last Ukrainian.

 :frown:

Maybe Vlad shouldn't have invaded a sovereign country...  :dunno:

And hey, at least it's progress that we haven't sent in any US soldiers. :fan-1:

He is an up-and-coming Fred Phelps.

I'm sure Dax loves this kid.  :opcat:

6
Fellas... lay-off Dax a bit. His heart, at his age and health, surely can't take the level of hysteria he's making it endure much longer. :cyclist: :curse: :ohno:

It’s good to know that the non scientist is inextricably tied to a singular dogma relative to the most complex ecological system on the planet.

Dax, don't be so reductive. It's not like human-caused climate change is some fringe science by some small minority. It is an overwhelming consensus, across a varied spectrum of sciences, theorized and studied for decades. And because I haven't gone to school for many years in this subject, spent an inordinate amount of time afterward professionally researching the topic, I chose to trust the experts. Keep putting your faith in the 3% of scientists who are deniers, oh and alex jones. I bet the lizard people are really frustrated they can't brainwash you  :bang:

8
What is the optimal level of human caused climate change tho?

What is the optimum level of Co2?

Probably somewhere right there in the middle, Dax, you willfully obtuse knuckle-dragger.

Probably?

Okay then.

I'm not a scientist (but I trust the overwhelming consensus) so I am not qualified to answer your question definitively. However just using basic logic while looking at the graph, if the world has had drastically lower CO2 levels then we currently do and scientists can show how CO2 affects the global climate then obviously we are in uncharted waters in terms of the magnitude of the impact this will have on the environment... keep grasping at straws though, alex jones has all the answers I'm sure.

Interesting that the claim only goes back 650,000 years (pfft, not even close to the beginning of the quaternary system), yet the chart only goes back 500,000 years and stops in July 2013 (are they still manipulating 2014-2017 data?). What are they hiding!?!?!?

 :horrorsurprise:

The Trump admin. (& 13 federal agencies) put out a climate change report that implicates humans as the overwhelming cause of global climate change... How are the knuckle-draggers going to try and wiggle out of this one!?!

Do you live in the upside-down world at all times or just political realms? The reason I ask is because it is clear and blatant that Pruitt is expelling scientists and qualified individuals for folks with more "diverse" views and backgrounds... AKA... Oil, Gas, Extraction and Production industry insiders and stooges. His justification? The scientists that currently serve on the panels are potentially biased if they recieve EPA grants for their work... But the industry insiders aren't biased by their pay, investments, or grants from the Oil and Gas lobby. Sound logic there GOP/Koch Shills /s

ALSO** I recently came across a great graph that illustrates CO2 ppm historically over hundreds of thousands of years giving dax, ksuw, fsd, and the other knuckle-draggers an idea of the uncharted waters we are in the middle of... Not that I have any reason to believe it will break through their brainwashing/programming. But nonetheless, there it is...

From our own Kelly McHugh-Stewart in the NYT:

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/09/27/opinion/military-support-kaepernick.html

"...And consider this: The president of the United States is more outraged by the actions of football players than by the actions of white supremacists. Let that sink in. Is there anything more offensive to the United States military than flying the American flag next to the Nazi flag? Talk about spitting on my father’s grave. President Trump gave white supremacists a pat on the hand, while black N.F.L. players get called “sons of bitches.” If that’s not proof of racial inequality in America, I’m not sure what is."

Oh you're husband has a great job, you have an advanced degree, a giant library, and stacks of cash, and the way you choose to help is by mommyblogging about how much you care about politics?  The "marginalized" in society are forever indebted to you.

Hey _33, does it make you feel better as a person to denigrate mommybloggers for trying to make the world a better place? What are you doing to positively contribute to society and the future?

But yeah, homeschooling  :barf:

Gotta love Phil and his obsession with this city can do no wrong talk.

As I've stated before I've got more than my fair share of beefs with city hall.  Do you have any comments on how the city could have done this better?

Follow the tried and true practice of formally issuing an RFQ/RFI (not this, "I challenged the business community to step up" bullshit). Allow enough time for interested parties to put together a proper response and proposal. Task an independent selection committee to make recommendations based on transparent and clear criteria. Select based on qualifications and cost. Educate the voters and public on the reasons why and the mechanisms for achieving it.

Other cities handle this stuff all the time without very many hiccups... why this staff or council is so inept is beyond me.

At this point it's a joke Cam, i'm just playing a long. I have no idea how any of this works.  ;)

Well, I'll be damned... Now if we could only get Dax/FSD/ksuW/etc. to admit to the same

They'd be correct.  :don'tcare: Unfortunately there will still be an army of Mocat's out there that are naive and think otherwise.  :frown:

Wacky... You loveable boot-strapping idiot, you... Please explain to me how taxpayer dollars will go to pay for the airport. Please.

Not to say I told you so... But I rough ridin' told all you MFs that the city had fudged up this process up from the beginning.

Phil told me I didn't understand or was not seeing the big picture (wrong), others thought I was being chicken little... And in the end, the voters are going to have zero confidence to vote yes because the city has repeatedly tripped all over themselves, face planting every step of the way, engaging in zero education of the facts or reason, and because the "hometown" team is not the selected proposer.

Makes KC look small time, incompetent, and corrupt. Even worse tho, the city knew better but went forward like this anyway.

Troy Schulte and others should absolutely be fired for this. It's inexcusable.

 :th_twocents:

Also, B&M is extremely hypocritical to be calling foul now when they helped to muddy the waters from the get-go... despite the thick bullshit that Mayor James has put out.

« on: August 01, 2017, 11:46:42 AM »
"Browder explained to lawmakers, however, that it's not really a contradiction or a disconnect at all for Russia to be gathering potentially compromising information on Trump while also reaching out to his campaign to provide assistance and incriminating information about Clinton. That's because Putin's activities always seem to be designed to find leverage over his targets. In some cases, Russia will engage in an illegal activity to help a target and then hold the threat of exposure of that activity over the target's head.

"They've got you both ways: with the carrot of continued bribery, and the stick of exposure and blackmail if you defect?" asked Sen. Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn.

"That is how every single one of their relationships work," Browder confirmed. "That's how they grab people and keep them. And once you get stuck in with them, you can never leave.""

Let me shorten this up:

Is there any actual evidence Donald Trump met with an actual russian government official to discuss fishing john podestas emails?  Of course not.

Is there evidence the dnc hired a company to create a bogus report about donald trump? Yes

OR

There is evidence he met with Russian agents, employed Russian agents, and worked with Russian agents.

There are is string of lies that the Trump team has covered up Trump and his team's numerous meetings with Russian agents since before, during, and after the election.

There are reports from outlets as credible as The Daily Caller that the Russians were working specific voting lists to target susceptible voters in swing states.

There has never hinged on one meeting about Podesta emails but rather a concerted quid pro quo campaign that includes things like the transfer of a large percent of Rosneft, money laundering, and violations of the Logan Act.

To date there's literally not a shred of evidence any of those people work for the Russian government in any capacity.

In regards to the money laundering your heroes had every opportunity to charge the guy you're trying to finger and didn't twenty years ago.  There's not a shred of evidence to date that the guy is engaged in any of those kinds of activities now.

There is however a mountain of evidence that a number of these people had/have expansive ties to Fusion GPS.  Which was covered in this thread extensively.   Uncooperative Fusion GPS which is now the subject of FARA hearings, whose founders were Hillary contributors, whose spouses had expansive ties to Mexican based corporations, who used foreign nationals and by proxy allegedly used sources inside the Kremlin to produce a discredited report on Trump which was paid for by Democratic operatives.

Damn TBT... you almost nailed it on the over/under! Dax is just so predictable in his wild ravings... What a loser.

24
Is this silver lining due to the fact you libtards lost control over the executive, legislative and judicial branches?  Could there be a reason all three branches are right winged patriots?  Probably because someone has to fix the problems this society has created by catering to the someone who makes me uncomfortable libtard twitter 'activists' who won't accept accountability for their own kind committing such a high percentage of crimes especially murder.  No wonder the cops are afraid, look at how many white people are killed by blacks vs blacks killed by whites.  Too bad your own ignorance doesn't see this as a problem.  Bluelivesmatter more than blacklivesmatter.  :D

A real modern-day conservative, Republicat.

It's weird how much the right hates the ACLU.

They really don't like civil liberties.

Sounds like that crap  negros are always complaining about

Except... blah blah blah... I'm a rough ridin' racist

Idk... now I'm starting to second guess myself. This cat is way too self-aware of his bigotry to be Wacky. Like skin-head level hate and ignorance. Wacky, as far as I can tell from his internet persona, hasn't plunged into those waters yet.

I will say though that Trump, Bannon, and the rest of the other deplorables being in prominent positions of power has really empowered and normalized nationalistic xenophobia and fascism... All the while disinformation and fake news are propagating into the population conspiracy theories and irrational distrust in "liberal" media via facebook, infowars, AM radio, and fox news. I mean just look at the crap that the other republicats and dax post on this blog... Equally stupid but better packaged and marketed. So who really knows anymore?

The one silver-lining is watching the GOP and Trumpers trip all over themselves in actual governance. L-O-L.
