My Minnesota Wild are gonna surprise some people this year.  LOOK OUT

Hard to be a surprise team when you sign the 2 biggest FA's available in the offseason. If it wasn't for the lockout Minnesota would be getting a ton of talk from the media.

SabiNation is a pud Wild fan. Had to ask me what the name of his "favorite team" was the other day.
I think what my friend Mitch is trying to say is that true love is blind.

It's gonna be awesome when my Wild go deep, and I mean really deep into the playoffs while the pud Stars blow again.

Question for hockey fans:  Let's say i want to wear the sweater of my favorite team.  Would other hockey fans beat me up or shout mean things at me if that team happens to be Canadian?

I hope the Wild have a terrible season.  Contracts like the ones they gave out to Parise and Suter are a big reason why the NHL had a lockout.  The owners were too stupid for their own good, and they took it out on the fans.

Blues signed former stud D-man Wade Redden today. I'm not sure how much he has left in the tank but could be a nice addition to an already solid team.

Gonna try and make it to a game in St. Paul this year.  Hopefully Suter and Parise tear it up in an amount fitting their contracts.

Good win for the Sens today.  Karlsson is a monster.

MiR, how did you become a Coyotes fan?

liked them when they were in Winnipeg, loved them after I saw a game in Phoenix after they relocated

nope you're good unless its the Jets.  I'd recommend the Oilers.

The lockout sucked, but this 48 conference games in 90-something days schedule is going to be fun.

Yea, it's going to be very entertaining. Very few teams are going to be out of the playoff picture until the very end and at least a couple teams that had no shot at the playoffs in a full season will make it.
