If I was a maga grifter, I would make actual shoes and call them #Jackboots.  They would come in two styles 1.) 9mm Jackboots(makes no sense and doesn't need to) and 2.) The E Lee Jackboot.

What would they look like?  Cammo Crocs and Confederate Crocs.  No sport mode either, because LOL.

Selling off the shelf already and I just wrote this hypo down with no intention of selling them.

Reads like a perfect fundraiser for Team Locked and Loaded aka The MAGA Blasters

Bro!  Maga Blasters!

Bullshit, chinese made, super cheap 9mm pistols made to be completely Maga red.  One side of the barrel says 'eff your Feelings!" and the other side says "I lube this gun with liberal tears!".

eff!  Is this what's inside the Trump store?

Guys, this might be a really good time to open an Etsy and get some NIL stacked for use.

Sell individually to cater to the roughly half maga population who has lost a foot to diabeetus

These would work on either foot.  You wouldn't be buying a pair of shoes, you would be buying two shoes for the price of one pair!

I just hope when the reduced stadium is done the total capacity is not announced, and Lightpole has a commercial, at the beginning of that season, where he slaps the new partial stadium and says "You can fit so many fans in this bad boy!", and still never states the capacity.

Meanwhile, KU hires a new employee, who is a caricature of a construction worker, and who's entire job is to do random construction things from Friday afternoon to the end of Sat during every home game.  Just moving a 2x4 around, running a skill saw, rolling out and rolling up extension cords, digging a small hole here and there, etc all to illustrate that the next phase is coming soon.  Years from now The Builder will be a mainstay as a new Lawrence character about town, and a secondary mascot to the university, as he continues to work on the second phase of stadium construction.

the interesting thing is the mccarthy got kicked out just for funding the govt but johnson completely rolled them, and it looks like the freedom caucus will do nothing more than whine about it.

The process of finding McCarthy’s replacement made them look inept. This bill makes them look inept. Perhaps they realize this and don’t want to take another step down the inept ladder.

A true genius defense.  When they have you every other way, smoke them out with your personal stank.

Not really lol, but I'm not sure where to put this. CNN was broadcasting live next to the courthouse, and as they were on air, a man lit himself on fire like 50 feet away. It took a couple minutes for the fire to get put out, so we all got to witness two reporters reporting the sights and smells they were experiencing in real time.

any info on the why?

One that seems to be going in the opposite direction of the norm:  Starbucks.

They incentivize you to use their app via free crap every so often, birthday drinks, etc.  The app used to ask you, after every purchase, how much you would like to tip.  They took that function away a year or so ago.  So now, you pay with the app, but if you don't have cash(lol, what's that) their employees get no tip.  Kinda wild.

I assume they found some legal reason to stop doing this and just took the option away before they got sued, but who knows.  Given the tip environment everywhere else, this one is a head scratcher.

when you are checking out on the starbucks app it has the total at the bottom and then a little button that says "wanna leave a tip?" but you do not have to engage with that button in order to complete your order.

When you are scanning the bar code in the drive through, that isn't there.   It used to be a pop up after they scanned your app, though.

am i to understand you are placing your order when you arrive instead of ordering ahead of time so its ready when you get there?
drive through  scanning app.  not pre order

Delay then pay. Great path to a lose/lose for US.

I would think Uber might bear some legal culpability on this front if their medium was used as a mechanism for fraud that got someone killed.

You might think that ...

A couple years ago Uber came out and said they would no longer be allowing their drivers to drop off and pick up kids for school if parents weren't in the car.  I always assumed this was for similar reasons.  Makes me think that Uber this they may share culpability as well.

Not to go all lawyer here but how does a ride share app have any culpability for the old man's killing/embarrassed for getting grifted boner?

I am unable to go all lawyer, as I am not one.  So  :dunno:

Just seems like instances like this, everyone gets sued and that results in companies not allowing certain activities.  Figured they would have removed themselves from services that seem higher risk.
