None of these coaches would be "retiring" if it wasn't the end.
Just the opposite, actually. If Snyder was retiring, there would be no need for these other guys to do so. The new coach would bring in his own staff and most of these guys would retire at that point.
I think Hayes and Miller were/are ready to go; I think Snyder thinks he has one more run, and realizes he needs some more youth/energy on his staff. So the feelings are mutual. (Maybe not with Mo, though, who seems to not realize that he can either "retire" or be escorted to the door.)
I think losing Miller, Hayes, and Mo while retaining Snyder, Dimel, and Coleman is literally the perfect scenario. Especially if the replacement for Hayes is Leavitt or Venebles.
