Hard to point fingers at KC for a move that three other playoff contenders are also looking at.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

He doesn't walk, and is poor with the bat, but he can play multiple positions, and be a decent utility man. He'd be sixth on the Royals in WAR. Definitely not exciting, but nothing to lose sleep over.

WAR isn't particularly valid when comparing someone who plays multiple positions, especially when his primary position is 2B

I hear Kottaras is available. I bet he'd make a pretty good backup catcher.

duffy has done a great job pitching without good control (with some defensive help, and some luck).  hope he can make it through one more inning.  also hope yost doesn't try for more than one inning.

This is the KEY moment in the game if the Royals are going to stay in it. Can't let anyone score. We have an absolute strikeout machine in Wade Davis out in the pen, but its not the 8th, so by made up fake baseball law he's not allowed to pitch. We get to see Jason Frasor instead.

Absolutely. Still think its the wrong move to go with Frasor in that spot tho.

I umpired baseball on and off for about 9 years in high school and college and post college. Occasionally if a pitcher was just missing, I'd be like, "man if he just gets close and this kid doesn't swing, I'm ringing his ass up".

I bet that ump thought that too.

Salvy is really gaining ground on CF3's all time favorite baseball players list.
