My God. These attorneys look like such rough ridin' stooges, they know full well this isn't at all libel. They clearly don't care about damaging their practice and looking like idiots.

regardless of whether or not he had tenure and academic freedom generally, it's still a case of the government punishing one of its employees based on the content of his speech.  if this was a private school, this wouldn't raise my eyebrow at all.  but would UVA have fired him if he came out with adamant support of BLM?  if not, that seems like textbook viewpoint discrimination to me.

if I were him i'd be on the horn with the ACLU this afternoon.

I'm guessing its pretty easy to support BLM without alienating a large group of people like one would when comparing them to the "clan." Seems to me that they could make a pretty easy case that his airing of his viewpoint publicly would make it impossible for him to properly do his job.

25280
Yeah, if you're a professor at the University of Virginia saying stupid crap that's also politically charged, in a public forum, should get you fired. Employing someone as a professor, whip clearly isn't an intellectual, is bad for business.

25281
You guys read the article? That leak is related to her getting a question during the primary, not the debate last Sunday. Once again this is just confirmation for what was obvious at the time, CNN was in the bag for the Clinton campaign. At the time of this debate and during the entirety of the primary season they had as many as four Clinton operatives as analysts on their panel and no one from the Sanders or O'Malley campaigns. All that being said this has nothing to do with Hillary, she didn't need to ask CNN to cheat.

25282
Its all very stale, crap I accused her of in January and February but you're posting this crap on repeat like its breaking news.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cultural_conservatism

Cultural conservatism is described as the preservation of the heritage of one nation, or of a shared culture that is not defined by national boundaries.[1][page needed] Other variants of cultural conservatism are concerned with culture attached to a given language such as Arabic.[citation needed]

The shared culture may be as divergent as Western culture or Chinese culture. In the United States, the term cultural conservative may imply a conservative position in the culture war. They believe strongly in traditional values and traditional politics, and often have an urgent sense of nationalism.[citation needed]

Cultural conservatism is distinct from social conservatism,[citation needed] although there are some overlaps. Social conservatives believe that the government has a role in encouraging or enforcing what they consider traditional values or behaviors. A social conservative wants to preserve traditional morality and social mores, often through civil law or regulation. Social change is generally regarded as suspect.

"I don't agree with this comment—Black Lives Matter is bringing much-needed attention to important issues like police brutality, even if I disagree with some of their more extreme tactics and views about wealth redistribution. Obviously, BLM is not a domestic terrorist organization on par with the Klu Klux Klan.

But if Muir thinks so, that's his right. The proper response is to criticize him, not censor him."

They should fire him.

Certainly Jürgen won't put Nagbe on his blacklist for not taking the call up for these matches. I mean who really gives a crap, he shouldn't have called up any regulars, especially MLS regulars, for these two matches anyway.

25287
Greg, I think you probably picked the wrong place to come soliciting for kickstarter funds.

I made my second ever Kickstarter pledge. I'm getting that Anderson Hall print framed and put in my office.

1. Baker Mayfield is such a bitch.
2. What was the deleted tweet?

WL reveals:

-Major COLUSION with multiple MSM outlets at DNC level

-Hillary hates the little people (that includes resident Hillbots and resident closted Hillbots)

-Clinton knew Saudi's and others were funding ISIS while CF was accepting $$ from powerful individuals from within those governments

-COLUSION to back stab Bernie

-State colluded with Clinton campaign on Hillary's (SOS) email releases

SMDH, Sad

WL exposes more pay-to-play.   Haiti, special access for sale etc. etc., much of which occurred while HRC was SOS.

SMDH (again); really awful corrupt people, but they're (D)'s, so that doesn't matter.

What does Miller being the "passing game coordinator" have to do with who's calling plays?

It doesn't matter though, Dana is definitely calling the plays, multiple media members including Stanbot, have said so.

25293
These motherfucking guys are shitting on Maddon for going to Chapman in the eight. This is the crap I talked about last week with Showalter, rough ridin' baseball guy always has the right answers playing the rough ridin' result. It's infuriating, rough ridin' hypocrites.

25294
If the giants had to draw a walk and steal and sac bunt to get their runs this game might have taken two days. I'm happy this postseason has teams that play the game the way it was meant to be played.

25295
That game three of Sox v. Cleveland was really fun to watch. Its amazing how different watching sports is when your team.wins a crap ton. I literally didn't know which world series champs shirt to wear to men's league tennis tonight.

I think the Tech game showed that we can still run the ball using our K-State, QB run game, option read/pop pass offense (against a very poor defense).

But this is why I was so frustrated at Dimel at the start of the second half.  After picking up two first down running the ball deep out of our own end zone, we then threw three straight passed and had to punt the ball.  I get balance, but don't go away from something until they prove they can stop it.

you realize Del Miller is the passing game coordinator right dumbass?

There's a reason why people keep ignoring you when you keep saying this; Dana is the playcaller.

Two morons behind me complained on every Charles Jones run, they played a montage of his runs and one guy said "he should of popped all of those."

That's what the dude said, loudly. Not should have, not shoulda, but should of.

Chubb has been okay, but not nearly as good as he was before he got hurt last year. Justin Crawford at WVU has been just as good as Chubb has been.

I think this season, offensively, should be compared to 2011 and 2013; the numbers of both of those seasons are quite surprising. I have no idea how the 2011 team won so much because they don't seem to stack up very well offensively or defensively. It is amazing that the 2013 offense was so productive given how much they turned the ball over, god bless Tyler Lockett and John Hubert. Anyway I like how this team compares to those teams and what that means for the future.
