Mixed up the holidays.

I would argue that Christmas and Thanksgiving are basically the same at this point.  And PT&A is still a better Christmas movie than all the other kiddie, home alone, grinch bullshit out there.

Die Hard is not a Christmas movie. It's a movie that happens to be set around Christmas. I'm sick of this crap.

Have never seen Love Actually, actually. Nor the family stone or w/e. I don't really consider It's A Wonderful Life to be a Christmas movie because the instance of Christmas is not essential to the plot, unlike Home Alone, which is a Christmas movie that would be uninspiring were it not entwined with the celebration of the alleged birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Scrooged is so underrated. Mrs wacky didn't even know what it was when I turned it on. Made me rethink my life decisions.

in home alone, christmas only serves as A) a plot device to keep the family from being able to return quickly, due to busy holiday travel, and B) a reason for 20th century fox to open the movie right before Christmas 1990 and clear over $500 million on an $18 million budget

Christmas is more important to the plot of die hard than home alone, and that is indisputable

You can’t lose something that was never there to begin with.
