Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

"They were disappointed. We were all disappointed," Weber said on Monday. "Now they have to take a step. We have to have leadership. Culture is dictated by leadership. They've been great so far. I've bragged on them since the spring. Now we had a disappointment. How do they come back and respond to it? That's the biggest thing.

"I know they care. I know how hard they worked. You can go back to Coach Snyder's goals — Don't Accept Losing, Eliminate Mistakes, Never Give Up. Everyone during the year is going to have a setback. How you deal with it and how do you respond? We had ours a little earlier than maybe we thought but maybe that gives us a little more time to figure it out."

With a week in between games, Weber said this gap should be crucial in honing in on some specific areas. While finals week makes practice times a little sporadic, the amount of true practices available is still substantial.

"It's good to have practices. I wish they weren't in exams, but we need some practice time," Weber said. "We just haven't had much practice time. Now it's, 'Here's a couple of things we need to get better at, let's get better at it.'"

Playing the 16 Goals card is the act of a desperate man.  I think he played it way too early.

If these other teams didn't get so much more practice time than us, we would be right there.

That and other schools not having finals like KSU forces upon students.

^^^ Def the wrong thread for that, and lol at that being the thing to get worked up about.

Anyway:

Quote
"One through 10, I think it's the best I've ever been part of. You just keep thinking the league can't get any better but obviously it's very good," K-State head coach oscar Weber said.

Quote
K-State (10-2) starts off conference play at Iowa State (9-2) on Friday at 7 p.m., in Hilton Coliseum, one of the tougher venues in not only the Big 12 but also the country.

The Cyclones have won 49 of their last 56 Big 12 games at home, including six in a row in Ames, Iowa, against K-State. Five of those losses were by six or less points.

"If you look back, basically every game has been very close and almost the same scenario, where we'll play well, push them and then they go make a play or two down the stretch," Weber said. "Now you have to find a way to get over the hump. It's a challenge, a great environment."

In addition to forcing oscar to open big 12 play in one of the toughest venues in the world, the conference is rough ridin' ksu this year with NINE conference road games.

Quote
To help prepare for nine road tests in the Big 12, K-State has played five games away from home already this season. The Wildcats won their two true road tests against Vanderbilt and Washington State to tie Oklahoma for the most true road wins in the conference so far this season.

Weber said those experiences, and what his team gained from them, would be key in successfully navigating its 18-game conference schedule.

"Every game, whether it's home or road, is going to be a battle. Because of the depth of the league, it's going to make it tough," he said. "We've had some experiences, and that's what you want to go through. Hopefully we learned and grew as we went through some of those experiences."

Feel free to relocate. Wasn't really sure where to put it. And I know Bruceketball gives us PLENTY to get worked up about. Doesn't make this any less ridiculous.

Iowa State students still aren't back, and most of their fans are heading to Memphis.  If we don't win tonight, it won't be because of any hilton magic.

Wrong take, this is the adversity thread.

Its tough playing in a quiet environment without a lot of energy in the building.  Our players just got back from break and probably aren't as focused as we'd like them to be.
