I wouldn't get it if you are only doing so for the vids, imo. The shipping and kindle borrowing would be nice though.

I recently had my trial end and my bank account charged the yearly fee of $99. Should I stay on as a Prime customer to check it out? Or get my full refund back?

I don't order stuff very often, so I'm not sure I'd be able to take advantage of the free shipping. I also don't have a kindle/ don't enjoy reading books off of a screen.

you also get the instant video streaming and music streaming. i mean, if you dont know after a year if you want it or not im not sure we can help you.

Signed up in like late oct. Pretty sure they are going to cancel the service due to shipping cost over runs and it will be my fault. It has easily paid for itself a couple times over already and I have been binging my ass off with The Wire.

when it was $79 it was a steal, now that it's $99 it's still a steal especially with the streaming, the music and the book borrowing

I think the trial doesn't, but the paid version def does. Was $39, dunno what it is now

Amazon has made a profit in a while and bezos doesn't seem concerned, it's great

Ha ha, the exact same thing happened to me. I started the return process and I'll use the headphones until my new ones come. Paying return shipping sucks, but I don't want something I don't like.

I only pay return shipping when I don't want to drop off the package at ups.

Forget this stuff. If you are a business owner and you don't have prime, you're doing it very wrong.

Correct. It is also only certain books, I think. Similar to prime streamimg. Not all movies are available for free streaming.
