Marshall will give them 1 (at least)... but will also run for a buck fifty and score 3 or 4 TD's.... blessing and a curse...

Clearly the public is heavy on Auburn, which of course, makes me nervous.
Quote from: #1AUFAN on September 15, 2014, 01:10:43 PMClearly the public is heavy on Auburn, which of course, makes me nervous.auburn has covered 11 spreads in a row. don't be too nervous. this is a team that was fortunate to beat iowa state. they have 1 or 2 players that can hurt auburn, but have absolutely no way of slowing down our offense.
You've made it abundantly clear that this line should be 14-17 as you see it, would gladly lay 14+ with AU, and that Auburn has covered 11 straight.... With all this in mind, please help me understand the rationale that the oddsmakers must be using to make AU such a short favorite in this game.I'm of the belief that casinos, bookies, and offshore shops aren't in the habit of just handing out "FREE MONEY" so what could possibly be the explanation of only asking a team that is superior in every way to cover just 8.5 points?

Kansas State plays very disciplined football. I just don't see Auburn running the score up, especially in your house on a Thursday night. The fact that the line has been trending further in Auburn's favor makes me believe that even more.
(maybe I mis-read what you meant by "auburn's favor"... I WANT the line to keep going up as a K-State backer)

As an Auburn backer though, you'd want it as low as possible though unless you plan on taking K-State plus the points.

I would take K-State at +9.5 though, to me that's a good bet.
