I was presented with bacon and eggs this morning. #FathersDay

WonderDad has started traveling around the world the last decade or so, and man has it affected his fashion choices. While his wardrobe used to be almost exclusively made up of college-themed/non-hooded sweatshirts, it has slowly been taken over by t-shirts celebrating one country or another.(Also giant orthopedic [?] shoes.)

You want to see an overweight American in a too-snug t-shirt with a tuk tuk on it? Just find WonderDad.

Sounds more like WonderDad is getting dissed than praised in this here post. And in the thread you started to talk about how great he is, too. SMH.

My dad was celebrating the day by finishing off a 900 page book about the socioeconomic and cultural forces that drove us to towards the Civil War.

He was literally in Heaven. It was like the perfect day for him.

After a late lunch we watched the roys get their brains bashed in and then he showed me his new welder and showed me some of the welds he did with the new one vs the old one. Then he showed me where he is building a guest cabin.

He also gave me some insidery information about the dump that is the Clipart family football complex. He says the new staff doesn't seem to be very serious and they are all goofing off constantly when he goes in there.

Today my dad told me that my sister got him a giant cream puff from a bakery and he snuck off to eat it in his bedroom so no one would see him eat the whole thing all in one sitting.

Used to quiz us on world capitols on the way to and from school. Still remember most of them to this day. What a stud!

SB's dad went to Hawaii recently and ONLY wore slacks on the beach. Every day.

Then he came home to Kansas and went out in the driveway in a Hawaiian shirt and basketball shorts to shovel snow.

Here's to you, dad! (Plz note that I am currently wearing basketball shorts and a Hawaiian shirt.)

I learned recently that my dad pitched a no-hitter in a sixth grade softball game at school. He also punched a kid in the neck at Vacation Bible School.

A little tip for anyone out there at VBS--don't mess with a kid who can bring that slow pitch heat.

Your dad must have put some serious action on those pitches and had a good SS to field all those grounders.

In 4th grade, WonderDad was pitching me a neon orange baseball and I smashed a line drive right into his forehead--leaving imprints of the seams and almost certainly concussing him. (Concussions had not been invented yet.)

He took it like a champ. Happy Father's Day, WonderDad!

Got cards from my kids and Mrs SSOC yesterday indicating that they believe I am a good dad. Felt really good.
