This. I'm just sick of Texas schools, but I think they're more valuable than Baylor and TCU.

Why would you ever compare potential additions to some of your worst that are already in? I mean, I know who we are too, and we don't need another "us".

we could legitimately start an annex school (like k state Salina) in the state of Texas that would allow us too to poach the ever coveted Texas recruits. i think it would be important to locate it in a hot bed of recruiting but also important are television sets. dallas or austin?

What about SMU. I mean can we really afford to give the SEC a foothold in Dallas? Better sign them up too.

Then you've got Texas St., North Texas, and UT-Arlington who are all bigger than Texas Tech. Better bring them in too.

I have zero knowledge of that saga, but that sounds very much like something Texas leadership would do.
