Farmer Derek has an eagle cam mounted to monitor this pair of eagles in their nest. Should be pretty awesome when the babies arrive:

If you're a bald eagle fan, I suggest a winter trip to St Paul. They live downstream of the power plant. You can watch them swoop fish in the river. Twas the highlight of a business trip a few years ago while out for a morning run.

One of the baby eagles hatched!

I think its dead.
First of all, Farmer Derek would not allow one of his baby eagles to die.
Second of all, you can see that baby eagle eating at 15:30 on the livestream.

looks to me like both parents are feeding themselves the fly covered corpse of their newborn baby eagle fetus.

good grief eagles!

if i was an eagle, i would make a roof for my nest to protect my family from the elements.  specifically the rain, snow, uv rays, and wind.

how would you choose to outfit your eagles’ nest if you were an eagle?
