damn, who should I cheer for now?

brazil - seems like they always win so like cheering for golden state, maybe this would be good
belgium - no
uruguay - seems like a good one, small country. should suck. but they don't.
sweden - no
england - no
france - no
russia - MAGA! no
croatia - they have a uruguay feel but not as good of one. so no.
colombia - see uruguay above

the colombian fans have been the best but i think they just lost their best player

sweden is great. they weren't even supposed to qualify and now they're in the quarterfinal, why are they an automatic no in the sd system?

I'm not as opposed to it as some people, but I think it would result in shitty soccer with players just kicking it from deep and praying.

My alternative would be even more CFB-like with 3v3 in the penalty area. Defense starts in the 8 yard and offense starts outside the area with the ball at the top. When the ball leaves the area the possession is over. They take turns. Maybe a best of 3 then a sudden death. Same 3 for both offense and defense.
