I give the D some major props. Played decent even with all the injuries.

Eh sometimes those free spenders (Yankees) are just too much for the little guys doing it the right way (Royals). Have fun being ERii Scott

No need to be like that. Now that the game is over we can be buds again! I'm not a jerk prick like ERiI is.

It would be cool if Weber could convince one of these players to be walk on for a year like Baker at WSU.  Probably no kid on the roster could afford that.  With everybody on the team on the kick of loving each other like family, axing someone could screw things up between them.  They seem to really like each other, including Jackhop K.  Daddy Weber may have to break a kiddo's heart.  Can he be that ruthless?
Pretty sure Baker had a scholly to WSU from the jump. We tried to get him to walk on here

Nope, they talk about this every year. He walked on and RS as a true FR.

A psychiatrist would have a field day in this place.

I still can't believe I missed his fight with Mayweather that was like 2 buildings down from where I was at the time

IF we had to play in the WC game, I would want James to be #OurGuy. That game will be either 9/30 or 10/1 I think, and if the rotation stays what it is, his last start would be Friday 9/26. He'd be just throwing 1 day early if it is on 10/1 so if we play in that, we can pretty much bank on James being the man.

I'd like to know either way by BFGJ's last start. Start pre planning the rotation for playoffs.

God dammit that was fantastic. When BGJ was talking crap to the Tigers bench I was all  :Wha:

I love him

Yep, I was pretty undecided on "the trade" up until the last month and a half. But BFGJ being lights out in a pendent race and Wade being lights out in the bullpen makes me solidly happy with it no matter what the future holds

Advanced stats guys were saying Oderizzi is just as valuable as BGJ this year

Yea probably was up until August when he went from BGJ to BFGJ

What do I think of Alabama?

I'll tell you what I think about Alabama.

Not much.

I will tell you two things that Alabama has that Kansas never will:
1. Fresh seafood.
2. A national championship

This guy says different

Wait, how does a guy that knows we where going after another highly ranked Juco QB and was fine with it all the sudden become butt hurt because he heard the recruiting pitch to Waters? Because I doubt that nowhere in the process was it insinuated Marshall could be in Klein's place one day.
Because it made Marshall look like the 2nd option, before that he probably believed he was 1 or 1a. Only if Klein knew you could make another call.
It's still a little weird that it made him that upset that suddenly his supposed top school suddenly was not an option at all. If he didn't know about Waters then it would make sense, but if he knew that KState wanted both and wanted them both to compete for the starting job, while still telling him he could be the next Bishop it shouldn't have come as too much a shock that they where telling the other guy the same thing. Am I just overestimating his intelligence?

I was not aware the order "resets"

I don't know, allocation has me a little confused and it seems like. MLS pretty much makes up rules as it goes with it. If it doesn't reset then yea, no way would I use it on Kei.

Highly speculative rumor: SKC has offered Bieler to Columbus for top allocation spot in an attempt the get Kei. Source is a friend in the Columbus area so I am putting no stock in it.

Would probably take depending on the kind of salary we would give Kei. Makes sense in the sense that Columbus desperately needs a striker. :dunno:

Meh can we just wait in that allocation spot for someone better than Kei.

That's what I was thinking too, my question is when does the order reset? If it resets as soon as the season is over there's probably not much chance of many other options coming available.

The Kansas City Chiefs lost Derrick Johnson for the season on Sunday with a torn Achilles tendon and are dangerously thin on the roster at the position otherwise. Having only two healthy inside linebackers — journeymen James-Michael Johnson and Josh Mauga — on the roster until Joe Mays returns (he's on the injured reserve-designated to return) is not a good thing for a team running a 3-4 scheme.

As for what the Ravens might be looking for in return ... perhaps a running back? They just lost a high-profile one on Monday.

See ya Cyrus Gray

If they could swing a Arthur for Cyrus deal, oh man, I don't even know
