That is literally the only thing in that town.

I used to get baseball cards there when I was a kid.

So did I.   My cousin lived across from the water tower.

My grandpa lived a few blocks down that street towards the park.

just about any company would be better than dillion's sponsoring the game.

"hey folks, welcome back to the Dillion's salad bar halftime report, I'm JB Bauersfeld and we have a lot of first half highlights to cover but first- have you seen how fresh the lettuce is at the Westloop Dillions salad bar? fantastic, let's check out those highlights!"

Pain in the ass that the round about isn't done.   :curse:

my family uses this Dillons too. i got pulled over for using the residential streets to cut over instead of the detour. 75 dollar fine  :bang:

OMG, warm up your tractors!

That's Hutchinson for you!!

I thought that looked like 5th street Dillons.
Should have gotten a pic of the original in South Hutch. Wife went to high school with the daughter of the owner. Her last name was Dillon.  :gocho:

Burn.

I've seen people get tickets for cutting through the Dillons parking lot.

I've been using "Kingsrow" to cut through to 21st st.
Where did you get that overnight bag?

Original is in Sterling and then on 13th and main.  They don't even have one anymore in S. Hutch.

I think that is a pretty strong argument FOR dillons being the best and most kansasy of all possible sponsors :dunno:

Dude, did you know that Bauersfeld's old man used to own a grocery store in Topeka that competed fiercely (and unsuccessfully) with Dillons?  This is going to be a very awkward situation during the broadcast.

Those two were polar opposites.  You from North of the river or something?

"this year the kansas soybean growers association team up with kansas farm bureau to bring you the one hundred and eighth edition of the "sunflower showdown" - up next, live from memorial stadium in lawrence"

then jim knox dives head first into a baby pool filled with soybeans on the sidelines.   we cut to break.
