Bourbon, especially an Old Fashioned or Manhattan.

Beer, Coors or KC Pils types on warmer days, Fat Tire or an Amber on cooler days. Maybe a heavier beer (especially bourbon/whiskey barrel varieties) like Bourbon Barrel Quad once in a while, but those have some kick.

What I'm NOT drinking is some sort of over hopped Pale Ale or IPA that all the cool kids seem to enjoy these days. My goodness those things get old.

I have a temperature based beverage strategy similar to _FAN's although not nearly as classy. Early season games when it's warmer I tend to go for the thin watery beers like Natty Lite/Busch Light. When the temp starts dropping I'll change my drink lineup accordingly to heavier stuff like a nice IPA or mixed drinks with bourbon.

Fireball is appropriate for all seasons BTW!

It does seem many folks choose their beverage based on the temperature... Does anyone have a scale based on how the game is going?

Usually go for beer towers with the buds because beer is way overpriced in DC.

2. Margaritas for night game with no food
