Is anybody else worried about this?  I know, I know....it was precautionary and he could have played blah blah blah.

Unless we changed our floor/shoes, we are probably going to lose two guys to foot injuries this year.  I'm just hoping it isn't Brown.

The road team went 26-17 in Big 12 conference games this year.  Also, the road team out-scored the home team by 44 points, meaning that there was a +1/game advantage of playing on the road this year.

I don't think home field advantage is what it used to be.  The college kids don't care as much about (traditional) sports, and everybody in the stands seems to be genius offensive coordinator.

I know, I know, what is good for the conference is good for K-State come March.  However, it seems as if Tech and TCU are one of the handful of teams we might be competing with for tournament slots.

Do our odds of making the tournament go up or down if both Tech and TCU lose this weekend??

We have to win all of our remaining games, which puts us at 7-2.

We can't be tied with both WV AND OU, as there is no way we could win a tie-breaker in that scenario.  So, we need one to crap the bed, and I choose WV (since they have one loss already).

So, here is my scenario:

OSU wins out after losing to us.  Finishes at 7-2.  (This includes defeating OU.)

BU loses to us, but wins out.  Finishes at 7-2.  (This includes defeating OU and WV.)

OU beats WV.

Four teams at 7-2 (us, OU, OSU, BU).  We are 2-1 against that group, as is Baylor.  We win head to head, and are thus conference champs.

There are other scenarios as well.  :crossfingers:
