I've got a good feeling about this one. :bball:
-
I do not.
-
The announcers make it sound like Jerry is starting...?
-
Boom diggety DJamer reed
-
Texas field looks like crap. Surprised Dax hasn't commented.
-
Why are we wasting our time with Alex slow Barnes? Let's get some Silmon with that sexy first name!
-
Be damned
-
Hell of a kick by the Mc
-
it's gonna be a hilarious game bc cats and i so cant watch it all. thank god
-
Texas is smart. They are staying away from the best guy on the field, my guy, Duuuuuuke!

Bullied us right down the field.
-
Our offense is an abomination.
-
Well going to take one more play
-
I'm pretty pissed that this board lead me to believe KSU was going to be good this year. Ertz has mediocre accuracy, Barnes is as slow as Tanking, our wr can't catch. At least I have Duuuuuuuke!

D is legit tho
-
Ertz kinda shits himself around our goal line.
-
LOL @ Tom Herman acting like he needs 7 there.
-
some of the texas pants are like sheer stockings
-
Ertz kinda shits himself around our goal line.
He will always have Houston.

It's Dutch for shoe. Gruntley.
-
Mitch Running Jr.
* for those too young, he was 1 of 3 good WRs (K Locket Running Sweiger) back in mid 90s Ksu team
-
rough ridin' cushion pass defense.
Looks like Tejas taking a page out of the qatz defensive book.
-
-
I thought our D was supposed to be good and our Offense wasn't? This is the opposite of the supposed to be's.
-
Great job time for 3 legged race, white slow LBs
-
Jayd Kirby ladies and gentlemen.
-
Great job Ertz
-
Obvious false start not called on that last touchdown. :blank:
-
I thought so too but replay was more questionable. Maybe just a bad angle initially.
-
Our D has looked silly so far. I think halftime adjustments will help but a running QB = problems for us.
-
Delton and Silmon all run attack. May need to move Duke to offense as well.
-
One would think that since our general strategy revolves around a running QB that we'd be able to stop one.
-
Blame the refs when losing.
The ref gave you the biggest break when they made the call on third down on the goalline.
Was not a hold at all.

I like your scolding of us blaming the refs while proceeding to blame the refs.
-
Barnes is soooooo slow
-
I am 100% off the Barnes bandwagon. Get 1 yard in the open field. JFC!
-
Can't believed I fell for thinking this team was gonna be good. They are slightly above average at best.
-
JFC we can't tackle worth a crap.
-
Announcers keep saying how well we tackle but I haven't seen any evidence of that whatsoever
-
We've had one good tackle and it was on special teams.
-
Can't believed I fell for thinking this team was gonna be good. They are slightly above average at best.
Yeah. I'm pissed at all the hype that was spit out on here.
-
I am 100% off the Barnes bandwagon. Get 1 yard in the open field. JFC!
Chris Claybon would have gotten that yard.
-
Our receivers can't catch and our defense can't tackle. I'm taking it as a win that we're only down 7.
-
Haha. Apparently Pringle can only catch balls not intended for him.
-
Would have been nice to maybe try a screen pass on that 3rd and 11
-
We lack the talent and coaching to make up for deficiencies in either.
-
I'm sad I'm at this point, but I'd feel better if just one of these calls went our way.
-
Warmack needs in. He has so much more speed.
-
Agree we need speed right now.
-
I didn't buy the hype from the pre-season. Hell, I haven't even paid any attention to this team this year. Snyder football is no longer fun for me. Wondering what our team would've been like if we could've gotten Herman to coach for us.
-
Fainting goat
-
Ertz lol
-
Fainting goat
pffft
-
Delton
-
Delton looks good!
-
give it to the meat hook!

Wow! That was beautiful.

Hopefully we can close the door on the wheelchair quarterback.

Wow! That was beautiful.

Guys, Ertz being out would be v bad for us.

Guys, Ertz being out would be v bad for us.
We will see who is the qb of record when we get the W.
-
Guys, Ertz being out would be v bad for us.
For today, we might lose with Delton, but definitely with Ertz.
-
Bye bye Ertz.
-
Delton days are upon us.
-
Final quarter. Let's get this
-
Delton runs hard and doesn't goat faint. His release is very snappy!
-
Come on defense...get that ball back
-
Delton is good for a decent change of pace but he is incredibly one dimensional
-
Delton is good for a decent change of pace but he is incredibly one dimensional
Probably because Snyder is calling the plays and won't open up the playbook for him
-
Delton is good for a decent change of pace but he is incredibly one dimensional
Yeah I'm wondering about his throwing skills. He gets the ball away quickly but it doesn't seem to have a lot on it. Hoping it's all there.
-
Delton is good for a decent change of pace but D Dimel is incredibly one dimensional

If Ertz is fit to play he should finish this game.

Damnit guys

Wtf was that call?
-
Wtf was that call?
Total bs
-
Yes that roughing call was straight bs
-
Tighten up, state!
-
YESSSSSSS
-
Hook em. Lol
-
The bend but don't break defense is maddening. Wow he missed the kick. What qb now?
-
Delton
-
Yea, the calling for Delton is one dimensional, but that is exactly the dimension we need right now.
-
Nick Ast
-
Sustain a drive, Alex, and put this game away.
-
Let's go cats!
-
Jesus Gruntley
-
Don't really get the play calling there
-
Crap. Not feeling good about this
-
Duke is going to have to get an int it seems.
-
Yes, defense needs to get a turnover
-
If the D learned to tackle we're fine. Barring some 15 yard penalty...
-
Ertz must be hurt pretty bad.
-
Confidence rising.
-
Duke is going to have to get an int it seems.
Forced a fumble!
-
Durham over Cre?
-
We have the dumbest coaches in America.
-
Ertz must be hurt pretty bad.
His feelings
-
Bring in Thomas for the final drive.
-
Bring Ertz in now?

Officially out on etz
-
Ertz instead of Delton killed us

Meh...just like a punt
Except not. Burning 7 more seconds would have been great.

Yep. Those 7 seconds are the ball game

It's like Texas wants to win this in the 4th. WTF?
-
Whew
-
So lucky

Ertz is like the opposite of Ell, Klein, Bishop. Etc. Loser
-
Bring Delton back now
-
Bring Delton back now
-
Maybe stop doing the same blitz :dunno:
-
Ertz is like the opposite of Ell, Klein, Bishop. Etc. Loser
Yep. All in on Delton/Silmon from here on out.
-
Delton downing it to end the 4th is very telling.
-
Bring Delton back now
I agree, makes sense in the shortened field format of OT
-
Bring Delton back now
Does it really matter, the way Dimel is calling this game it is rough ridin' pointless.
-
Maybe stop doing the same blitz :dunno:
Or at least cover the crossing routes if you do.
-
Why do we keep going to the Iowa well with QBs?
-
No Ertz at the coin toss? Loser.
-
We didn't know what to do when we won the toss
-
Welp
-
Hahaha. Losing on first play of overtime.
-
Good grief
-
Let's go Cats! Tie it up!
-
GO FOR TWO
-
Woohoo!
-
Delton!
-
This Ehlinger kid is gonna push our crap in for the next four years.
-
Damn..I would have gone for two. Delton could get it in there
-
This Ehlinger kid is gonna push our crap in for the next four years.
Yes he is. This is a turning point game in our respective programs
-
I think we should've gone for 2, but whatevs.
-
eff going for 2
-
Zuber sounds like a little girl yelling.
-
I loved his zeal
-
What a crap show
-
Damn. McCrane is damn good.
-
Can't blame McCrane.
-
Goulsby just got made a bitch.
-
McCrane is really a bright spot on this entire squad.
-
He is. He had a great day.
-
Definitely not on McCrane. We had an exceptional inability to disrupt the QB's passing lanes on his quick throws combined with a lack of pressure. I think Texas' superior recruits/athletes was on display and exposed our smaller guys. Outside of two nice scoring drives, the offense with Ertz and Barnes was very ineffective.
-
We ran the same blitz 35 times in a row in the 4th Q.
-
Those holding calls were as bad as the 2nd and 3rd and forever play calls
-
Ertz had better be done. It's time to roll with Delton and the guys who are coming back next year.
-
Game was a tossup and we lost. I would have only been surprised is it was a blowout. Its essentially the same 7-8 win team it's been the last few years, but Cats unfortunately playing in a better Big 12.
-

Shut up, idiot. We're fiddle rough ridin' away games we should win. Take your bs to gotuck.com
-
Yes that's what 7 win teams do.
-
^^^
JV bbs'ing right here
-
Ok
-
Only got to watch the last 1:30 and both OT’s and good rough ridin' God. Do we practice the 2 minute offense? Can we make a rough ridin' concrete decision on what our strategy is? Can we play another yard off receivers to make it an even 15? Can we win another game with this same decision making?
eff THIS crap.
-
^^^
Bingo
-
Goulsby just got made a bitch.
Should Ehlinger get punished for targeting? He led with the crown of his helmet into Goolsby’s head.
-
If you think in-game decision making is our biggest impediment to winning I don't know what to tell you.
-
I actually thought the same thing about targeting. But I'm assuming it's kind of like how the facemask rules are different for the runner.
-
Goulsby just got made a bitch.
Should Ehlinger get punished for targeting? He led with the crown of his helmet into Goolsby’s head.
He really didn't even get made a bitch. He was engaged and being blocked by another guy while the QB "trucked" him. I mean, pretty easy to run over a defender who doesn't even know you're coming at him.
-
This Ehlinger kid is gonna push our crap in for the next four years.
Yes he is. This is a turning point game in our respective programs
No way he sticks around of four years.
-
Didn't watch it because football is for rough ridin' idiots
-
If u taped game and watch replay, here are some key plays...
Goolsby & #6 mess up twice late in the game.
1) UT down 27-24 on 3rd &10, 3:00 left. UT has 5 WRs. Ksu has 5 DBs all off about 7-8 yds. 1 UT WR runs drag route. #6 was lined over him. #6 just drops few yards. All other 4 WRs are picked up by DBs. That UT WR catches drag route pass, jukes Worthless Kirby out of his shoes and gains 11 yds
2) 1st play OT. 3 WR top of the screen. Ksu has Shelly #6 and Goolsby lined up across the WRs. Middle WR runs slant route. #6 doesn't guard slant. He takes the inside WR going deep. Goolsby stayed on his WR, so they both guarded 1 man. Wide open easy TD
3) Ksu last drive in Regulation. 3rd &9. Zuber gets shoved out of bounds 12 yds down the field (Hello, illegal contact). If no call isn't bad enough, the Ref tossed his hat... signifying that Zuber went out of bounds. So he saw Zuber go out of bounds but had blinders on that he was shoved out. Most atrocious call I've seen in many many weeks of watching CFB

The HS QB coming in next year is better than him
Seen the QB first hand. Is ready to come to UT and compete for the starting job

It's about time you finally out recruit the state (rough ridin' Baylor) on QB's. You're rough ridin' Texas for Christ sakes.

4. Reggie Walker roughing the passer call was complete bs. QB was also standing in the pocket and threw the ball to nobody (ie, grounding). Literally a 30 yard swing in field position.
-
Yes FSD, the QB throwing the ball out of bounds was on a 2nd & 10 play...it was the play right before the 3rd & 10 play I talked about. College rules state, if QB is in the tackle box, he doesn't have to get the ball back to the line on scrimmage, but if he is trying to save yardage by deliberately throwing a forward pass incomplete, it can be called intentional grounding. So a flag could have been thrown on that play
Talk about back to back sucky plays. SMH.

I'm surprised there hasn't been more discussion about the officiating. I very rarely complain but there were some head scratchers. The replay that ruled the Texas catch, the missed intentional grounding (when i saw the flag i was certain that was going to be the call) the Walker roughing penalty (wtf) and Dimel's hold in OT2...i honestly don't think he blocked the guy let alone held him. And it was such a crucial call at a crucial time. I thought it might be just me but Stan was pretty vocal in postgame about it.
-
Well, if you read Shaggy they (no surprisingly) were heavily complaining about the officiated as being unfair to them when they were losing.
The roughing penalty was because of the blow to the head.
-
So they complained all 3 times they were penalized?
-
So they complained all 3 times they were penalized?
Yes and about all of the holding (they perceived) our linemen were getting away with.

The forced contact out of bounds and the roughing/intentional grounding were mind numbing. The two OT holding calls were extremely chintzy, to say the least. Not like reaching out and grabbing a defender's jersey like on one of their QB scrambles.
-
If you're looking for a villain in this one, look no further than the coaching staff.
-

That's not what was announced and didn't happen, in any event.

The roughing penalty was because of the blow to the head.
Then they should have sacked up and called targeting. But then I guess it would have been reviewable...

Different from targeting. When he swiped down he hit the qbs facemask.
-
I'd love to see video of the last Dimel hold. That was a crucial call. I didn't get the OT's dvr'd.
-

The Dimel hold was pretty weak. The one right before that was legit & costly. Everyone made a solid block except for Beechum #61. He grabbed #90 jersey for an extended period of time. Instead of a 13 yd run by Delton, and 1st & Goal from 5, it's 2nd and 13 from 28. Very costly!!
-
When you get your hand on top or on the side of the shoulder you risk a holding call. Both late holding calls had that, and neither of them gave us any advantage on their blocks. Both were dumb mental errors, you have to keep your hands inside when blocking or you put it into the hands of the officials.
-
The first hold on replay I was like "what a bad call," and then I saw the jersey stretching while the defender was running in the opposite direction. So no complaints there.
Dimel looked to me like he just got trucked, so I don't see the call there at all.
-

Which is.completely fair but you can see Texas do the same thing several times, including to Goolsby when he got "trucked."

The holding on the left end of the line when the ball was going right really bothered me because it was always our players reaching to their left. You would think they would want the defender on their left with the ball going to the right. I guess the QB must have had an option to keep and run left or something.

Holds and bitb on "away" plays/players is killing this team.

Definitely looks like targeting to me. Player was defenseless since he was being blocked and QB makes forcible contact to the head.
-
Maybe that was to the shoulder but I thought live from another angle it was to the head.
-
Watched this over the last couple days. I got so drunk at FattyFest that I got dinkmentia there and didn't know who was playing QB at different times.
