LOL. I don't think this has anything to do with a Big 12 invite (rumors of something else), but CSU to the Big 12 isn't as far reaching as you might think. We're definitely in play for the 14th spot. I wouldn't be surprised either way.

This ramsack guys is super weird. He wants in the big 12 desperately, but at the same time tells us we're not a P5 school if the big 12 was to break up. :confused:
Of course I want CSU to be in the Big 12 because it's a P5 conference and the MWC is not. I want CSU to compete at the highest level of college sports.
I'm not saying KSU doesn't deserve to be a P5 school. What I'm saying is that KSU will most likely be left behind if the Big 12 implodes.
Look at each of the conferences (for KSU):
Pac 12 - Geography is the biggest problem. While the Pac 12 would potentially take a Texas team or two, it's unlikely that they'll go to Kansas. There's not much ROI for them. Going to Texas brings in a whole bunch of potential recruits. What does Kansas bring them?
Big 10 - Academics aren't good enough. I can see them going for KU, but not KSU.
SEC - Only needs 2 schools to get to 16 and I don't see a scenario where KSU is one of them. Do you?
ACC - They only need 1 school to get to 16. I doubt KSU in the discussion.
KSU's best hope is that Kansas and Kansas St are a package deal wherever they end up.

CSU had 14 players play their first college snaps last night. There were only 3 starters returning on Defense (it showed). No starting WR's returned from last year either. I'm really looking forward to next week to see if the team starts to gel against UTSA.
Good luck next week against FAU.

He's really not that good, but he is a senior with 2-3 seasons as a starter. There's a reason CU went after Webb (transfer, now Cal QB) in the offseason.

I expect some growing pains, but not total ass-whippings like the one CU gave us Friday.
In contrast:
1) CU's opening-week depth chart had 11 seniors and 10 juniors as starters.
2) The Buffaloes returned 17 starters from a season ago, the highest total in the Pac-12.
