The last KU quarterback to win a big 12 road game?

Todd Reesing.
That can't be right. He played just a few years ago when they made a run at the national championship

are you talking about that time when they played virginia tech in the orange bowl?

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

Big 12 road wins will come and go but herpes will last forever- Todd Reesing

The backdrop of a great moment in KATPAK history.

reminder that KU hasn't won a conference road game since the first week of October 2008 -- about a month before Obama was elected.

OMG. I thought maybe they won late that year.... I know 2009 was the year it fell apart...

October 4th, 2008. Kansas beats Iowa State.

Their last conference road win.

I mean,... I can't imagine something like this streak.... .  I know Kstate went winless for three years...but that's... 3 years... Before scholarships..and parity... and athletes at most schools...etc.

So before things got interesting when Texas had 4 turnovers in the first half, there was one ultimate KU Football is hurting moment. They came back from commercial and the camera was zoomed super far across the stadium on the very tippy top corner row above the students section, where there was one lowly KU fan stretched out horizontally, taking a nap under a blanket. Then the camera zoomed out slowly and he was just absolutely in an ocean of empty bleachers. :frown: ku football is hurting :frown:

I actually saw this live and just assumed one of Lawrence's many homeless had picked up a free ticket at a Taco John's.

Also assuming he's still there and claiming squatter's rights.

Seeing the slight incline in Lawrence has spoiled me, I guess.

Goal post coming down hits KU fan in head at TX game
9:23 AM
(3 votes)

If you look at the .26 mark In the lower part of video you see a guy in red hanging from the goal post,  he slips off looks around  and  the goal post comes down and cracks him right  in the head. It looks like it knocks him down and he walks around bit stunned. I don't see how  it didn't crack his head open and have a serious injury.
Was this one of you guys?
FYI don't stand under a goal post coming down.

I wish we had the famous LHC Bill Snyder schedule next year instead of @Ohio and Central Michigan. Is Rhode Island busy the first three weeks of September?

They really think they almost won. Except the game was never in doubt even though we played with it third string qb for a huge chunk of the 2nd half and almost the pass.
I once blew clove smoke in a guy's face that cut in front of me in the line to KJ's.

Let me guess, Moosehawk is running around convincing everyone that if a play or two had gone differently or if a position group was, ya know, just better, they would have won the game.

Has Cheyenne Zulu hired anyone to fund raise to renovate their stadium?   We're staring down the barrel of 2017 and there's not a wrecking ball, back loader or dump truck within miles of that dump.   But hey, they renovated their dressing room to look like AMC Lanes circa 1996.

I was with Mrs. Wacky's fam last night for dinner and they were giving me a pretty hard time about "how close it was" and "how close they're getting". I agreed and said they should extend Beatty right now.  :D

They're not wrong. Beatty is only a few years away from being just oh so close to almost potentially beating KSU if a few things were just different and calls went their way and team was better.

I know most of you are just being condescending but Beaty really does appear to be turning the program around.  He's got some work to do with the 2017 recruiting class but I wouldn't be surprised if he had them bowl eligible by 2019.
