Nice compliments from Eaton

Yeah, I'm cool with Eaton.

"Ventura is a heck of a competitor," Eaton said later. "I respect the heck out of him and everyone behind him. I’m a competitor as well. Sometimes boys will be boys and I think that was a situation where we had some excitement."

It sounds like Samardzija is the Lawrie of the Sox though.

It's Samardzija. He hit Cain opening day, Sale was hurt and didn't play.

It looked more like an open handed slap attempt, which makes it even better.

I'm keeping a list of players who we owe payback beanings to and it's getting really long and hard to maintain

What do you do for pitchers? Is it like
Samardzija (Abreu)
Kazmir (Lawrie)
?

It's too bad that the :sox: don't have Ozzie at the helm still.  Last night would have been even more amazing.

You can hit Arbeu, just not around his gorgeous face or masculine Greek-God like hands.

let's play a game called "who is your least favorite player on each team in the AL Central, and why?"

Chicago: Gordon Beckham. why? keiton page, that's why.

Minnesota: Oswaldo Arcia. why? because he's a fuckface.

Detroit: V-Mart. why? because he is old and fat and he wears that mouthguard thing

Cleveland: i can name like 2 players on Cleveland so i'll revisit them after we play a series vs them

Kansas City: N/A, they are all tied for most favorite

I think it's pretty clear that Eaton was pissed at Ventura because Ace threw a pitch before he was done with his "hold the bat over the plate for 3-4 seconds" routine. Our guy Yordano rightfully took exception to that and told him what he thought about that. Any good player would have done the same. Then the biggest piece of racist white trash in the MLB, Jeff Schwasticzija, decided he'd take that as an opportunity to try to get another cheap attack in on Lorenzo Cain. It's no wonder this organization has trouble finding fans even within their own city.

remember that meth mouth father/son fan combo that jumped onto the field and tried to fight our elderly first base coach? that's like 8 beanings we owe their players right there that are still on the books.

So apparently Sale tried to go fight Ourdano after the game.  He apparently went to the Royals locker room and had to be escorted away by security.

No kidding.  For tonight's game (Friday night against the defending AL Champion and division rival Royals) I have tickets 15 rows behind home plate that cost $35 each, and I'm disappointed because they are getting cheaper than that on stubhub now.  I mean, what?  Similar Royals tickets are starting at $160.

Part of the reason I think Kazmir may have intentionally hit Cain the other day is their catcher barely moved.

the reason i think kazmir hit cain intentionally is because he threw like 89 strikes out of 90 pitches.  with the other pitch, he hit cain.

This. iirc, he catcher was even set up outside on the pitch he threw at Cain

Greg, Harold and Dan appropriately blamed the white Sox for everything and noted that the Royals were justified in retaliating against all these crap bag teams because Moose, Gordo and Cain have been plunked 5, 5 and 4 times, respectively, 16 games into the season.

Chicago: Dumb Notre Dame receiver, because, a million reasons
Minnesota: dunno. they are pretty irrelevant. I guess Escobar and Vargas because they are dorking up cool names.
Cleveland: I hate how good Kluber is, also, Kipnis has always seemed stupid
Detroit: V-Mart is correct
