As long as Jenn Bates was not to distracted with rough ridin' entire semi pro Hockey teams and reported this correctly. KSU is the only in state school that has not contacted him.

All I read was blah blah, K-State did reach out to Matt Suther about Semi Ojeleye. Why would we? Shouldn't we be back channeling through Victor instead?

Remember what oscar said about why things went wrong in Champaign...that he started reaching for talent rather than relying on guys that were good "fit" with his philosophy. Why that answer did not immediately eliminate him from contention, I'll never understand.

I mean if Illinois had landed a consensus national top 5 guy from Chicago like that and he turned out to be kind of shitty his freshman year that would have been so perfect I'm actually shocked it didn't happen.

I just don't see him going to another blue blood school. Playing time is likely more of an issue at those schools compared to a K-State, Mizzou, Wichita State, etc.

The fact that we haven't even contacted him yet is laughable though.

If he was smart he'd sign on with hoi and start averaging 18 points a night right out of the gate on his way to collecting first team all confy honors and some NCAA tourney games.
