Kahlil Davis' twitter response to Bo's firing.

Time to let Zuber and Co. work their magic.

More like Warmack, Lee, and Prewett. They all went to high school together.

Can we talk more about how Xavier Kelly's hudl highlights make him look like Clowney

This.  The board here engages in a lot of jackassery (not to be confused with tom foolery) regarding not getting some studs.  This dude is a STUD!!  He has limitless potential as a pass rusher.  Think Barkevious Mingo and Kamerion Wimbley type of athlete.  He even has a less than normal first name followed by the two-syllable last name.  This last bit of info is likely the clear indication he will succeed at a high rate since the last name permits for ease of chant/clap.
Academics is a stupid word.

Academic schools are synonymous for being rich, powerful and exclusive, three things Kansas State is not.

So when people throw the word "academics" around, that's really what they are referencing.

Yep a stud until he decides not to come to KSU, then manhatter will say he sucks and we didn't want him anyway.  Should change hatter's name to sour grapes.

Ignore UAB transfers Reply

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Don't be surprised to see K-State, among many others, target the UAB program in hopes of snagging a transfer who would be immediately eligible next season.

While I don't have too many specifics on the subject at this time, I was told by a person close to the situation that the staff has already examined the UAB roster and has its eyes set on at least one player of interest - sophomore running back Jordan Howard.

Again, no contact has been made at this time, but I've been told K-State is intrigued by Howard and his potential.

Take it from me, having edited a ton of season highlights of UAB football this fall at my new job, Howard can play at the Big 12 level. He's a big, physical back (6'1/228) who could compliment a Charles Jones/Dalvin Warmack well for the next two years.

In two years for the Blazers, Howard has rushed for 2,400 yards and 17 total TDs, including an average of 4.4 per rush in games against Mississippi State and Arkansas. He set single game and single season rushing records this year.

Howard is a native of Birmingham, Alabama and Gardendale High School. A two-star recruit in 2013, UAB was his only major scholarship offer and his only real interest from the FBS level.

Interesting how JUCO recruiting has changed.

http://espn.go.com/college-sports/football/recruiting/playerrankings/_/view/juco/order/true

We are not even on any of those guy's radar.

I'm not saying we would/could/should beat those teams for players, but it feels like we didn't really aggressively recruit JUCO this year.  There has been a very heavy prep focus.

Yeah, I don't think we have targeted JUCO guys nearly as much this year, but I wasn't necessarily making it about K-State not getting JUCOs. The strange thing is that not that many JUCOs would be going to top tier schools like on that list even 10 years ago. We didn't have to compete with nearly as many schools when we focused more on JUCOs in the late 90s. I knew this had changed, but I didn't anticipate it being quite as dramatic as that list shows.

I also find it interesting that I'm loving our defensive recruits this year but I'm not all that wild about our offense commits. I think we have some gems on defense.

Aren't we redshirting some of the Juco guys from last year?  Derricot, Riddle,  some OL (Allen?)......who else?

Should have redshirted WR Davis,  he has done nothing this year.

We need some DE help
