in 2015 it didn't matter quite as much because the royals were just better all around:

so far 2016 feels like 2014:
4 or more: 14 times, 13-1 (.929)
under 4: 12 times, 1-11 (.083)

2 errors back to back on Infante and Moose to start the inning is the seed of all of this. Medlen isn't great but it's all decidedly not on him.

The errors and the pitching were equally to blame. After back 2 back errors, they were probably gonna get 1-2 runs. But 4 straight hits (3 doubles) made the inning blow up.
