From what I have read and seen the royals don't trust him to have quality starts at 1st because he only has 12 major league games under his belt, the dude is also a less than average hitter. That's why Duda was brought in but Duda is gonna platoon with Dozier if he makes the team otherwise back to omaha with his ass.
