Somebody told me yesterday that it's ok for catholics to eat meat on Friday now and that only the "holier than thou" types still eat fish on Fridays. Is that true?

The Bishop or Cardinal of my gma's area once said it was ok to eat corned beef when St. Patty's fell on a Friday. Her Parrish was like oh eff that.

There's a place here that has my favorite fish & chips but only on fridays. I don't think it's related to religion. Tried to go there a couple fridays ago and it was the first place to kick Payton out for being a dog.

This is a joke thread, right? Last time I ate fish, it was a salmon salad and I got food poisoning. My dad almost died from choking on a fish bone at a restaurant one time. Fish can get mumped, is what I always say.

How does somebody go 25 years without eating fish? Don't you know your body changes every 7 years? That's almost 4 changes. For all you know, fish became your favorite food during that span and now you hate it again.

Dad was '92. My food poisoning was this last November. Hate fish, but I like shark and lots of other seafood. Crab, lobster, shrimp, etc. When dad and I go fishing, we give the fish away to friends and family.
