I'm glad to see there are soccer threads going on in here, I guess I've missed them before.  I'm a big fan but sometimes it's hard to stay interested since none of my friends are into it at all until it gets to International tournaments.

Inter 3 - Barca 1 going back to Barca next Wednesday.  still entirely up in the air as i can easily see Barcelona scoring 2 at home.  the away goal Barca got might be the difference.  but the special one will have something to say about this before it's all over.  his tactics took Barcelona completely out of their game.  Messi was invisible and Xavi was ineffective.  hopefully Pep has an answer to get those guys involved.

wouldn't call myself a barca fan, i'm pretty neutral in this matchup, but i thought dani alves was particularly dissapointing

thought he did alright compared w/ the rest of his team.  i just think Mourniho's tactics took Barcelona completely out of what they wanted to do.  Barcelona's movement off the ball was also missing which is usually their strength.  could have been due to the 14 hour bus ride they had to endure.  but w/o that off-the-ball-movement those great passing moves you normally see out of Barca can't be completed.
