Well, I do. Some of them I keep to myself. But it breaks my heart and it made the victory, and I shared that with our players afterward, that it wasn't the victory that was so monumental in my mind, it was what it meant to the young people in our program, then after hearing of Paul's dismissal that just dampens everything considerably. I'm not attuned to the situation and can't make those kinds of decisions but I know I've always felt that he does it the right way, and I'm quite certain his players were taken back and really pained by it as well. He's a good man.

Bill did know Paul's Dad in his Iowa years and had much respect for him. Some say Paul is a good defensive coordinator (maybe he is, maybe not) and Bill's respect and affection for Paul is pretty clear. My question: if Tom Hayes retires after this season (Bill won't fire him), are we looking at Paul Rhoads as DC? Frankly, I hope not.
