Oh man, mrsdobber has done a couple of these, but "Wine and Design" tonight was pretty great. I promise to post a picture of my handy work tomorrow. I hope some of you gE'ers have a chance to do this in the near future!

It's like that bar game where you find the differences between the two pictures except this one has a lot less boobs in it

Yes. Way less boobs.
Guess which painting is mine and which one is Mrs dobber's!
We both had too much to drink by the time the critical points in the painting came up.

The instructor said it wouldn't come out of clothes once it dried. Does that help?

I am impressed with your bench, especially if it was the last thing you painted.

Sounds like acrylic. Both paintings are nicely done. I've heard good things about these wine and paint deals.

the bench was outlined for us prior to painting. The tree trunks followed by the branches were the last thing. Mrs dobber has some trunks that are about 20 feet in diameter at ground level. I have some branches that are about twice as big as the trunk that is supporting them.

would totally recommend. Drink before going so you are good and loose with the very first brush stroke.

One with multiple DFW locations is https://www.paintingwithatwist.com/.  I've never been, but the wife said it was a good time.

Some chick signed up for one at Fenway Park and they mixed up her email w/mine so I got to read all about it.  Also saw one in the mall next to Gordon Biersch yesterday.

Some friends of mine wanted to do this, but the picture was just a stupid candle on the date we could go. We are not doing that, but we might do this in the future when it is a better picture.

Why would they have you paint the branches after the leaves?
