Smart's 5th foul, really? I guess it should not have been a charge even though Releford was set just waiting for Smart. That was about as no brainer of a charge call as you can get.

Smarts 5th was def a foul.  Now, cobbins', no.  Withey is the only big in the conf that gets away with initiating so much wrap up contact only for the other guy to get called. Happened on cobbins and jurick last night in 2ot.  Huge horrible calls.

Withey's got that cute move where he dives into the defender with his shoulder, gets pushed back, waves his arms and gets free throws -- you now, the one that fouled Gip out of the game in Lawrence.

Why that is a basketball move worthy to two points is beyond me. But more or less carried KU in overtime.

By that standard Smart's 4th foul should have gone the other way.  ( I think that was his charging call)

I think you are mistaking the point of many posts.  Its really sad that major college basketball can't have competent officials who don't alter games with their incompetence.

I don't think the refs were really favoring KU at OSU, but my God, I don't think a group of officials could possibly ruin an overtime more than those bozos did. 2 overtimes, and KU only makes 1 FG because those guys turned it into a free throw shooting contest.

I'm sick and rough ridin' tired of this officiating dumbfuckery. We're taking the ball to the goddamn rack and they're grabbing, hacking, body checking all over the place with impunity. On the other end non-contact on evans yields 10 rough ridin' free throws. This league and its officials are a goddamn joke.
