I did take some liberties with NBAF but that is technically K-State owned property or was.
Also, I use numbers KState gives to the regents, which is often adjusted up from media releases.
NBAF $1.3 billion
Athletics $210 million
Wefald Hall $80 million
Engineering $45 million
Business $60 million
Seaton Hall $75 million
Union $32 million
Leadership $20 million
Welcome Center $18 million
Chilled Water/Pedestrian $56 million
Roberts Hall $50 million
Grain Science $30 million
Early Childhood $10 million
Jardine $102 million
Rec Center $20 million
Justin Hall $7 million
Vet/Foundation/Equine $25 million
--- End quote ---
I'm not sure you can count NBAF. Yes, it is being constructed on land that was previously part of campus, but K-State is not spending the money to construct it. If the money is not coming from K-State or our donors, it seems like a stretch to count it as funds we're spending to improve the campus.
sonofdaxjones:
K-State had to spend millions to make the area ready for NBAF out of its own pocket, so, I'm counting it as "on campus" construction.
