Yeah, unless oscar loses another player/team a) this team will be decent and b) oscar retires from K-State.

Our Wildcats are playing like last year didn't happen at all. Which is kinda weird, but I'm happy with it.

I'm pissed we lost to UNC, but happy that I'm pissed about it.

He inevitably will loss another team. It's what he does. It could even but this year. But he also has proved he's capable of pulling a good season out his ass. His track record is that you can never predict from year to year what kind of team he will put on the floor or even as the season progresses.
So I'm just going to enjoy the season for what it is and hope for the best and let the Weber drama play out. We have much more talent than I thought, so it could be fun.

I am scared to say that I enjoyed this game or I like this team. It's a real "don't do this to yourself" moment for me. Thankfully I noticed Oscar's wide stance and I am holding on to that for a bit longer.

Point guards - Deathbite and Dogbite way better than last year's.
Shooting Guards - Better as a whole. Hopper is doing so many good things. The Flush will be better.
Small forward- Westicles has improved greatly, but a good sub for him is needed.
Power forward - hope to see a Claws and Big Meat rotation. Scare the hell out of osu.
Center - DJamer & xWhomper. Good, good. Feel the strength flowing through the darkside.
Supergrunts - Hot Horndogs and Hollywoods
Vulturetime - Vulture and the rest of the Grunts.
Even oscar is better.

I could give two fucks who our HC is, if we're winning and making the tourney. I'll just close my eyes when they go to the sideline and focus on the score. I'm like that with all my teams. Things I care about: winning > dorky head coaches

you can be relatively good and lose to UNC (even without their best player). but, you can't be relatively good and miss the tourney.

This season is kind of a fun experience because I literally don't know who the eff ANYONE is. I'm just like "hey look that guy just did something!", and "oh wow did you see what that guy just did??!!". It's like I grabbed a handful of candy from the miscellaneous pile and have no idea what I got yet.

This season will be a fantastic litmus test of Weber's coaching chops. Players are almost all his and look talented. If he can develop them, we'll be poised for a deep run in the tourney in 1-2 years. If not, then his seat should start getting pretty warm.

I have watched all the non exhibition games this season and have a pretty good idea of what we have. It looks like a middling NIT team if we stay healthy. I suppose If the committee takes a 6th team out of big 12 maybe we have a shot. I admittedly haven't watched other Big12 teams but assume Baylor, ISU, OU, KU will be significantly better than us and that UT probably will be.
