Haven't flown Frontier in years...seems Allegiant is worse based on the airports they began flying into before growing...but nobody can be as bad as Spirit which I flew from LAS on a redeye to get back for the world series parade...it was pretty bad.

AA goes once a week I think...as does Delta.

On time performance past year  :'bye cruel world:

Frontier - 74.39%
Spirit - 76.46%
Southwest - 79.2%
Alaska - 84.2%

Allegiant stats aren't on USDOT site.

MC, they like to call it "pre-reclined" seats....spirit had those as well.

I eventually traded in those miles for rental car vouchers... the vouchers don't work either.

They have great extra room seats with good recline and dales pale ale. They do have an incredibly cheap bare bones product if you don't want to pay for anything extra but complaining about it is for low/mediums.

how much does one save by flying these shitty airlines, like $30?  how can it possibly be worthwhile?

the concept of flying something like spirit to las vegas makes absolutely no sense

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

I once flew Frontier nonstop to Vegas for $100 round trip. $100-150 for lots of places. SFO for that Stanford game was around $200. It's not always that cheap, but it is fairly often.

it can be quite a bit. We've flown Frontier because they and SW were the only direct options and it saved money and was a better experience than SW. I wouldn't ever fly it bare bones but if you buy "The Works" package you get stretch seating (more legroom than SW), same checked luggage benefit, fully refundable up to 24 hours prior to departure, priority boarding, and an assigned seat up front. Their "on time" record is poor but for a direct flight I've never worried about it and never gotten bitten by it. If I can fly Frontier and the all in package is cheaper than SW's price I'll fly it every time. Unfortunately they've basically pulled out of Omaha. Only current directs are to Denver iirc.
