He does and it's one of my favorite things about him. He and Rex are so opposite that their styles end up complimenting each other. It makes for a very enjoyable broadcast IMO.

Incredible start. Only allowed one guy to get in scoring position.

 Posse stat of the day....
Its been a while since we got 7 or more scoreless Inn. from a starter, and got the shutout. Did it today. Last one  was Game 6 of WS when Ventura went 7.0 in our 10-0 win

It's easy to forget the plays Cain makes so routinely aren't all that routine. You just get so used to it.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Rumor is that former Royal Jeff Conine "appears to be" the Marlins' choice for their new manager.

Man. Now "sources" (presumably within the Marlins' organization) are denying every name that comes up. Maybe ex-Royal Conine won't get it after all.

I initially considered posting it there, but Conine played for KC. Close call, however.

If we started the playoffs right now, how would you order our starting pitchers?

1. Young
2. Volquez
3. Ventura
4. J-Guts
5. Duffy

That's what I'd do, if anyone was wondering.

That's how I'd order them too, which means Duffy is in the bullpen. The worst part is that gives us all RHP.

I'd switch Volquez and Young, but otherwise yes. Duffy in the pen as a long reliever.
